The 2012 Russia Open Grand Prix was the sixth grand prix gold and grand prix tournament of the 2012 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix . The tournament was held in Sports Hall Olympic, Vladivostok, Russia June 26 until July 1, 2012, and had a total purse of $50,000. [1] The tournament featured intense matches and saw players from various countries competing for the title. The winners were determined through a knockout format, with players progressing through rounds until the final match.

Most of her success has come with women's doubles partner Reika Kakiiwa. Together they reached the final of the 2010 Korea Open Super Series, their first major final as a pair. She also assisted her team in winning the bronze medal at the 2010 Uber Cup. In the mixed doubles she pairs with Hirokatsu Hashimoto. Her career highest achievement was the silver medal in the women's doubles at the 2012 London Summer Olympics with Kakiiwa. She retired from professional badminton after the win at London.

The 2010 Korea Grand Prix was a badminton tournament which took place at Gimcheon Indoor Gymnasium in Gimcheon, South Korea from 23 to 28 November 2010 and had a total purse of $50,000. This tournament was upgraded from a BWF International Challenge which have been held from 2007 to 2009 to a Grand Prix event.
