The 2012 St. John's Red Storm baseball team represented St. John's University in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Red Storm were coached by seventeenth year head coach Ed Blankmeyer and played their home games at Jack Kaiser Stadium.

Contents

St. John's claimed the Big East Conference regular season and Tournament championships, and also swept through the Chapel Hill Regional. The Red Storm fell to eventual champion Arizona in the Tucson Super Regional, by scores of 7–6 (10 innings) and 7–4.

Andy Lopez was in his eleventh season as Arizona Wildcats baseball head coach. Lopez was in his twenty-fourth year as head coach. The Wildcats tied for first in the Pac-12 Conference with UCLA, finishing with a 20–10 conference record. The Wildcats finished the season with a 48–17 record. Six players were picked in the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.

The 2012 Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team represented Kent State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Golden Flashes were coached by 8th year head coach Scott Stricklin and played their home games at Schoonover Stadium. Kent State finished the regular season 37–17 overall and 24–3 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to win the MAC regular-season and East division titles, and the top seed in the 2012 Mid-American Conference baseball tournament. At the tournament, Kent State went 4–0 to win the tenth Mid-American Conference baseball tournament title in program history and advance to the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, the 12th appearance in team history.

The 2014 Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team represented Texas Tech University in the 2014 college baseball season. Texas Tech competed in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as a charter member of the Big 12 Conference. The Red Raiders played home games at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park on the university's campus in Lubbock, Texas. Second year head coach Tim Tadlock led the Red Raiders, a former starting shortstop for the team during the 1990 and 1991 seasons.
