2013 Regional League Division 2 Bangkok Metropolitan Region is the 5th season of the League competition since its establishment in 2009. It is in the third tier of the Thai football league system.
Rayong United were promoted to the 2013 Thai Division 1 League.
Paknampho NSRU re-located to the Regional League Bangkok Area Division from the Regional League Northern Division 2012.
Thai Airways-Look Isan moved into the Central-East Division 2013.
Globlex, Krung Thonburi, Samut Sakhon, Thonburi BG United have all been moved into the Central-West Division 2013.
Central Lions have withdrawn from the 2013 campaign.
Laem Chabang joined the newly expanded league setup.

The 2020–21 Thai League 3 Bangkok metropolitan region is a region in the regional stage of the 2020–21 Thai League 3. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season must be postponed to start in late 2020 and end in early 2021. In addition, the Thai League 4 had combined with the Thai League 3 and compete as Thai League 3 since this season and there is no relegation in this season. A total of 14 teams located in Central and Bangkok Metropolitan Region of Thailand will compete in the league of the Bangkok metropolitan region.

The tournament was sponsored by Blue Dragon Lottery Online, and known as the Blue Dragon League for sponsorship purposes. A total of 14 teams located in Bangkok metropolitan region and Central of Thailand will compete in the league of the Bangkok metropolitan region.
