The 2013 South American Badminton Championships (Spanish : Campeonato Sudamericano Adulto de Badminton 2013) was a badminton tournament sanctioned by the South American Badminton Confederation and Badminton Pan America. The individual and mixed team events were held from 9 to 13 December 2013. [1]
The tournament was held at Campo de Deportes Ñielol located in Temuco, Chile. [2] Five countries took part in the tournament. [3]
The team event was played in a round-robin format. Peru regained the title after winning all of their ties in the event. [4] Hosts Chile finished as runners-up while Argentina achieved third place. [5]

This is a record of Peru's results at the Copa América. Ever since their first Copa América, Peru has had good showings. It is often remembered by fans that Peru was the fourth team to win the South American cup. Even though in 1939 Peru played against only 5 of the South American nations, in 1975 Peru won the cup once more.
