The 2013-14 Boa Vista Island League season was the competition of the second-tier football in the island of Boa Vista, Cape Verde. Its started on 21 December 2013 and finished on 30 March 2014. The championships were organized by the Boa Vista Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol da Boa Vista, ARFBV). [1] Académica Operária won the 18th title and participated into the 2014 Cape Verdean Football Championships.

Associação Académica e Operária da Boa Vista is a sports club that its football (soccer) team had played in the Premier division and plays in the Boa Vista Island South Zone Division in Cape Verde. It is based in the island capital of Sal Rei in the island of Boa Vista and plays with Boa Vista's teams in the same stadium. Apart from football (soccer) there are also in the club basketball, volleyball and athletics departments.

The biggest win was Académica Operária who defeated Estância Baixo away 0-6 on February 8.

The first two weeks had Juventude do Nortetook the lead, Académica Operária took it for the rest of the season.

Académica Operária scored the most numbering 34, Sal Rei and Juventude were second with 25. Estância Baixo scored the least, numbering 11. Académica Operária conceded the fewest numbering 11 and Sporting Boa Vista conceded 30.

Desportivo Estância Baixo is a sports club for a football (soccer) team that plays in the Boa Vista Island League in Cape Verde. The team is based in the settlement of Estância de Baixo in the island of Boa Vista and receives assistance from the local government. The club area includes the south of the island, especially Curral Velho. The team has never won any title.

Onze Estrelas Boa Vista or Onze Estrelas Clube de Bofareira is a football (soccer) club that currently plays in the Campeonato Nacional de Cabo Verde and in the Boa Vista Island League in Cape Verde. It is based on the island of Boa Vista and plays in the stadium with a capacity of 1,000 though the village they play is for Bofareira. Its current manager is Tó Monteiro.

Its started on 5 May and finished on 7 July, slightly earlier than last year. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. Sporting Praia won the ninth title, it would be the club's most recent title win. This time, Sporting Praia did not participate in the 2013 CAF Champions League. No club also participated in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup. In 2012, Sporting Praia won the first super cup title and would become the first club to win both the championship and the super cup title in the same season.

The 2015 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 36th beginner level competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 9 May and finished on 11 July. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. The schedule including its matches were created on Saturday January 10. CS Mindelense won the eleventh title and became the second club after Sporting Praia to win three in a row. Neither clubs participated in the CAF Champions League competition in 2016 and in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup. This was the second ever and most recent finals competition that two clubs came from the same island as well as the same city.

The 2013-14 Sal Island League season was the competition of the second-tier football in the island of Sal, Cape Verde. It started on 18 January and finished on 29 March 2014. The tournament was organized by the Sal Regional Football Association. Sport Clube Verdun won their second and recent title and qualified into the 2014 Cape Verdean Football Championships, their next in more than thirty years and the first in Group Stage. SC Verdun of Pedra de Lume won their second and recent title and finished with 20 points, a point difference from Académico do Aeroporto. Also Verdun had its best season results to date, in the following two seasons, the club did not reach the highest positions in the island.

The Boa Vista Island Cup, also known as Bubista Cup under the Boa Vista Creole name is a regional cup competition played during the season in the island of Sal, Cape Verde, it consists of all eight clubs of the island and are divided into three or four rounds.. The competition is organized by the Boa Vista Regional Football Association. The cup competition was founded in 2008 and first played in 2009 and is the third youngest in the country. The cup winner competes in the regional super cup final in the following season, when a cup winner also won the championship, a runner-up competes. For several seasons, the winner qualified into Cape Verdean Cup which has been cancelled due to financial and scheduling reasons.
