The II CELAC summit or 2014 CELAC summit was the second ordinary heads of state summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States. It was held on 28 and 29 January 2014 in Havana, Cuba. [1]

The plenary session was opened by Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. [2]

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States is a regional bloc of Latin American and Caribbean states thought out on February 23, 2010, at the Rio Group–Caribbean Community Unity Summit, and created on December 3, 2011, in Caracas, Venezuela, with the signature of The Declaration of Caracas. It consists of 32 sovereign countries in the Americas. Due to the focus of the organization on Latin American and Caribbean countries, other countries and territories in the Americas, Brazil, Canada and the United States, as well as the overseas territories in the Americas of France, the Netherlands, Denmark (Greenland) and the United Kingdom are not included.

The relationship between the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland spans from the 19th century to the present day. Geneva II Conference on Syria

The Geneva II Conference on Syria was a United Nations-backed international peace conference on the future of Syria with the aim of ending the Syrian Civil War, by bringing together the Syrian government and the Syrian opposition to discuss the clear steps towards a transitional government for Syria with full executive powers. The conference took place on 22 January 2014 in Montreux, on 23–31 January 2014 in Geneva (Switzerland), and again on 10–15 February 2014.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP20 or CMP10 was held in Lima, Peru, from December 1 to 12, 2014. This was the 20th yearly session of the Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 10th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The conference delegates held negotiations towards a global climate agreement.

The V CELAC summit or 2017 CELAC summit was the fifth ordinary heads of state summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States. It was held on 24 and 25 January 2017 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Jeanine Áñez Interim President of Bolivia since 2019

Jeanine Áñez Chávez is a Bolivian politician and lawyer currently serving as the Interim President of Bolivia since November 2019, after the resignation of the government of Evo Morales. Her interim term will end when new elections take place on an as yet undetermined date in 2020.
