The 2014 Dutch Basketball Supercup was the 4th edition of the Dutch Basketball Supercup. The game was played between Donar, the winner of the 2013–14 Dutch Basketball League, and ZZ Leiden, the winner of the 2013–14 NBB Cup. [1]

The 2013-14 NBB Cup was the 46th season of the NBB Cup. It was managed by the Nationale Basketball Bond. SPM Shoeters Den Bosch were the defending champion having won the cup the previous season.

Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Due to sponsorship reasons the club was also known as GasTerra Flames and Capitals during the 2000s.
Landstede Basketbal, also known as Landstede Zwolle, is a Dutch basketball organisation from Zwolle. The club currently plays in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL), the Dutch top tier division. The club was founded as Cees Lubbers The Hammers in 1995. In 1999, the club’s name was changed into Landstede Hammers. In 2001, the club received its current name Landstede Basketbal. The home games of the club are played in the Landstede Sportcentrum.
