Group D of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the group stage of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup for Lithuania, Angola, South Korea, Slovenia, Mexico and Australia. Each team played each other once, for a total of five games per team, with all of the games played at Gran Canaria Arena, Las Palmas, located in the island of Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. After all of the games were played, the four teams with the best records qualified for the final round.
The final round of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup is the knockout stage of the competition. The top four teams from the preliminary round groups shall qualify in the single-elimination tournament. The losers in the semifinals will play for the bronze medal. Teams from Groups A and B shall play at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid in Madrid, while those from Groups C and D shall play at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. The third place game and the final shall be held at the Madrid arena.
Group D of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the group stage of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup for the Angola, Philippines, Italy and Serbia. Each team played each other once, for a total of three games per team, with all games played at Foshan International Sports and Cultural Center, Foshan. After all of the games were played, the top two teams with the best records qualified for the Second round and the bottom two teams played in the Classification Round.
Group J of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the second stage of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup for four teams, top two teams from Group C and two from Group D. The results of round one were carried over. The teams played against the teams from the group they have not faced before, for a total of two games per team, with all games played at Wuhan Gymnasium, Wuhan. After all of the games were played, the top two teams advanced to Quarter-finals, the third placed team was classified 9 to 12 and the fourth placed team 13 to 16.
The 2019 Serbia FIBA Basketball World Cup team represented Serbia at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. Serbia finished the tournament in fifth place with a 6–2 record and qualified for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The 2019 Italy FIBA Basketball World Cup team represents Italy at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. Italy qualified for the World Cup by taking the 2nd place in the European Second Round Group J. The team has been coached by Romeo Sacchetti.
Group B was one of eight groups of the preliminary round of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. It took place from 26 to 30 August 2023 and consisted of South Sudan, Serbia, China, and Puerto Rico. Each team played each other once, for a total of three games per team, with all games played at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The top two teams advanced to the second round and the bottom two teams qualified for the classification rounds.
Group I was one of four groups of the second round of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. It took place from 1 to 3 September 2023 and consisted of the top-two teams from Groups A and B. The results from the preliminary round were carried over. The teams were playing against the teams from the other group, with all games played at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The top two teams advanced to the quarterfinals, the third placed team was classified 9 to 12 and the fourth placed team 13 to 16.
The 2023 Serbia FIBA Basketball World Cup team will represent Serbia at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
