Yohann Gène is a French former professional road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 2005 and 2019, entirely for Bouygues Télécom and its later iterations. He was the first black cyclist, as well as the first cyclist of Afro-Caribbean and Sub-Saharan African descent, to ever compete in the Tour de France.

In 2013 Tsgabu became the first Ethiopian to win an international cycling event when he won the fifth stage of the Tour de Taiwan. He made his UCI World Tour debut at the 2013 Giro di Lombardia.
