The 2014–15 Paulense season were in the regional division of football (soccer). The club won the 6th Santo Antão North championship and entered the 2015 Cape Verdean Football Championships in Group A. [1]
The 2015 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 36th beginner level competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 9 May and finished on 11 July. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. The schedule including its matches were created on Saturday January 10. CS Mindelense won the eleventh title and became the second club after Sporting Praia to win three in a row. Neither clubs participated in the CAF Champions League competition in 2016 and in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup. This was the second ever and most recent finals competition that two clubs came from the same island as well as the same city.
The club had a total of 27 points (27 in the regionals and in the nationals), and 24 goals (24 goals in the regionals and goals in the nationals). In the regionals, the club also had 9 wins and a loss. [1]
The 2014–15 Premier Division started second behind Janela as that club finished a match with two more goals than Paulense, Paulense only had one with a win over Os Foguetoes made on December 13. The next seven matches were victorious and defeated Sinagoga, Solpontense, Rosariense and Janela in the first part. At the season's fifth match, they defeated Janela 8-0 and made it the region's highest scoring match of the season. At the second part, Paulense defeated Os Foguetões, Sinagoga and Solpontense. On March 1, Paulense became regional champions of the North Zone just over a month before the season's end. [2] Later in the season, Paulense lost to Rosariense 1-3 on March 28 which made the club's only loss, their next loss for Paulense was in 2016. The final match of the season was victorious for Paulense where they defeated Janela 0-3. Paulense qualified into the 2015 Cape Verdean Football Championships.
The 2014-15 Santo Antão Island League (North) season was the 16th competition of football and second with the second and third tier in northern part the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. Its started on 13 December 2013 and finished on 5 April 2014. The tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. Paulense won the 6th title and qualified into the 2015 Football Championships. It would be two years that Paulense would win the next regional title.

The club participated in Group A and finished second which earned them their only qualification into the playoff stage. Paulense made second third straight national appearance (sixth overall) and was more successful than the previous five seasons. The first match ended in a goal draw with Académica Operária, a two match winning streak that Paulense never did at the nationals was made, first to Académico 83 which made the club's highest scoring match at the nationals then to their main archrival of Santo Antão Académica Porto Novo 1-0. Paulense's only loss came on the last day of May where they lost to Derby 0-1. Paulense made their third and recent win defeating Fogo's Spartak d'Aguadinha 0-1. [3] Paulense's next appearance will be in 2017 and will be placed in one of three groups.
The 2017 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 38th beginner level competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. It started on 13 May and finished on 27 August, it started a days later than last season. Originally to finish on 15 July, instead, it was rescheduled to 27 August. The championship was governed by the Cape Verdean Football Federation.
Later, Oceano was the greatest player of the season.

Paulense's made their only playoff appearance in late June. Paulense defeated Mindelense on June 20 with a score of 1-0, Oceano was the only scorer who scored at the 44th minute. Paulense lost the second leg in Mindelo 0-2 at extra time and the club was out from further competition. [3]

At the 2015 regional cup finals, the club defeated Rosariense Clube and claimed their fourth title, it became their regional double.
Paulense qualified as regional champion faced the regional cup runner up Rosariense and defeated Rosariense to claim their third consecutive super cup title and their regional triple.

Sporting Clube de Porto Novo is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Santo Antão Island South Zone Division in Cape Verde. It is based in the island of Santo Antão. The club was founded in 1956 and is the island's oldest sporting club. Geographically it was once the westernmost sporting club in Cape Verde and the whole of Africa, now it is one of several today.
The Santo Antão North Premier Division is a regional championship played in Ribeira Grande and Paul, Santo Antão Island, Cape Verde. It is organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. The winner of the championship plays in Cape Verdean football Championships of each season. The league was formed in 1997 and continued to play with the Santo Antão Island League until the breakup into the north and south zones in 2002.

Paulense Desportivo Clube is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Santo Antão Island League North Zone in Cape Verde. It is based in the town of Pombas, the seat of Paúl in the northeastern part of the island of Santo Antão and is being the main club of Vale do Paul. Its current manager is Alberto Teixeira. Its nickname is Encarnados, the same nickname of Portugal's S.L. Benfica and many other clubs affiliated to Benfica. Since the introduction of the Second Division in the 2012-13 season, the club are one of two that have never been relegated, the other is Os Foguetões.

Clube Desportivo Sinagoga, also known as Sinagoga Futebol Clube is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Santo Antão Island League South Zone in Cape Verde. It is based in the village of Sinagoga in the northeastern part of the island of Santo Antão. Its current manager is Cadoram since November 2016. The stadium is located in the northern part of the island, next to the mountains in Ponta do Sol at Estádio João Serra.
Solpontense Futebol Clube is a football club that currently plays in the Second Division of the Santo Antão Island League South Zone in Cape Verde. It is based in the town of Ponta do Sol in the northern part of the island of Santo Antão and being the country's northernmost football club. Its current manager is João Lopes Rodrígues.
Associação Académica do Porto Novo is a multi-sport club that plays in the Santo Antão Island League South Zone in Cape Verde. It is based in the town of Porto Novo in the southeastern part of the island of Santo Antão. Sporting activities includes football and volleyball. Its current head is Osvaldinho Silva Lopes and its coach is Gunga. The nickname of the club like many other Académicas is Mica.

Its started on 16 January 2016 and finished on 24 April 2014. The tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. Sinagoga won the first and only title and finished with 28 points, a club record and participated in the 2016 Cape Verdean Football Championships in mid May.

The 2016–17 Santo Antão North Premier Division season was the 18th competition of football and fifth of the Premier Division that took place in the northern part of the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. Its started on 12 November and finished on 26 March, along with the South Zone, the season finished the earliest of any of the country's island leagues. The tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. Paulense won their seventh championship title which they did on February 19 and later finished with 28 points and participated in the 2017 Cape Verdean Football Championships in mid May, it was also be the first that had three groups each and Paulense was placed in Group A alongside the champion of the south of the island Académica do Porto Novo and Mindelense, last season's national champion. Janela finished last place and participated in the Second Division in the following season. The scheduling were made in September.
The island of Santo Antão in Cape Verde in the west of the Barlavento Islands is home to several teams and clubs. The major amateur clubs are Sporting Clube do Porto Novo, Académica Porto Novo and Paulense. Its first football championship was founded in 1996 and from 2002, the association and competition are currently divided into two zones, the north and the south and includes all sports including football, basketball, volleyball and athletics and may have futsal today. Other than football, it has a single regional association covering the island.
The Santo Antão North Cup is a regional football (soccer) cup competition played during the season in the northern part of Santo Antão Island (consisting of the municipalities of Paul and Ribeira Grande, Cape Verde. The cup tournament is organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. The winner participates in the Santo Antão North Super Cup. For several times, the winner participated in the Cape Verdean Cup. The first entrant was in 2007 which was Rosariense and their recent was in 2012 and was Paulense. Since 2013, there were no entrants to the national cup due to financial concerns. From the 2015 edition, the winner qualifies into the Santo Antão Super Cup, a single island cup competition challenging a club from the north.

The opening tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association.

Its started later on December 9 and finished on 25 March, the season finished the earliest of any of the country's island leagues. The tournament was organized by the Santo Antão North Regional Football Association. Os Foguetões won their second championship title, their next in nine years and finished with 22 points, later they are currently participating in the 2018 Cape Verdean Football Championships on April 7, it was also be the second that had three groups each and Os Foguetões was placed in Group B The scheduling were made in September. It's confirmed that the coming season has allowed the use of bullets in post-nominator matches, while it was appreciated giving a beta-type-consulting-consumer it was not satisfied with its overall outcome of disease pickers, in national areas.
