The 2015 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the eighteenth edition of the Asian Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA). The tournament was held in Tianjin, China from 20 to 28 May 2015.
If there were fewer than 16 teams applied for participation, all teams compete in the tournament.
If there were more than 16 teams applied for participation, participated teams would be determined by:
– The host nation
– Top 10 ranked teams from the previous edition
– Representatives from each of the five Asian Volleyball Confederation Zonal Associations

The teams were seeded based on their final ranking at the 2013 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship. The host country and the top 7 ranked teams were seed in the Serpentine system. The 8 remaining teams were drawn on 11 February 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. [1] Ranking from the previous edition was shown in brackets except the host (who ranked 4th) and the teams who did not participate, which were denoted by (-). Japan played in the Asian Championship with their U-23 national team. [2]

The 2015 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship was held on 1 to 9 May 2015 in Pasig, Philippines. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament. The tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship held in Ankara, Turkey which the top two ranked teams qualified for the world championship. China won the tournament and Liu Yanhan was the most valuable player.

(LVPI). The tournament was held in both Biñan and Muntinlupa, Philippines from 9 to 17 August 2017.

The 2019 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the twentieth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Korea Volleyball Association (KVA). The tournament was held in Seoul, South Korea, from 18 to 25 August 2019. South Korea played host to this event for the first time. The top eight teams of this tournament qualified for the 2020 AVC Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualification Tournament.
The AVC qualification for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship saw member nations compete for four places at the finals in Italy and Bulgaria.

It was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan from 25 to 31 May 2017. The tournament will serve as the Asian qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship with the champion qualifying for the world championship.

The tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship held in Argentina with the top four ranked teams qualifying for the world championship.

The 2018 Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2018 AVC Cup for Men was the sixth edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVA). The tournament was held at University of Taipei Gymnasium, Taipei, Taiwan from 8 to 15 August 2018.
The 2018 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 12th edition of the tournament. It was held in Shaoxing, China from 4 to 9 December. Eight teams will compete in the tournament, including four wild cards.
