The 2015 BYU Cougars softball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2015 NCAA Division I softball season. Gordon Eakin entered the year as head coach of the Cougars for a 13th consecutive season. 2015 was the second season for the Cougars as members of the WCC in softball. [2] The Cougars entered 2015 having won their last 6 conference championships and as the favorites in the WCC. [3] After sweeping a double header from Santa Clara on May 1, BYU won the 2015 WCC regular season title and became the first team to clinch a spot in the 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament. [4] The berth would be BYU's eleventh consecutive berth in the NCAA tournament.
BYU played in the Eugene, Oregon softball region where they went 1–2, losing to North Dakota State in the second elimination game. The Cougars finished the season 40–14, 13–2 in conference play. During the process McKenna Bull set a record for number of wins within a season at BYU with 34.

During the 2015 season BYUtv broadcast 13 home games: Mar. 20 (DH) & 21 vs. Oklahoma State, Mar. 21 vs. Utah Valley, Apr. 10 (DH) & 11 vs. Pacific, Apr. 16 (DH) vs. Southern Utah, Apr. 22 vs. Utah State, Apr. 25 vs. San Diego, Apr. 28 vs. Weber State, and May 5 vs. Utah Valley. Spencer Linton acted as the play-by-play man for these games while former Cougar softball coach Vaughn Alvey and former football and baseball player Gary Sheide provided the analysis.
TheW.tv streamed 2 home games: Apr. 24 (DH) vs. San Diego. Robbie Bullough provided play-by-play and Bailey Higgins provided analysis. The second game would be suspended, and TheW.tv was not able to pick up the remainder of the second game on Apr. 25.
BYU Radio would provide a game broadcast for two road games during the season. The Mar. 31 game at Utah State and the Apr. 7 game at Utah Valley would have a radio only broadcast with Robbie Bullough providing the call. BYU Radio would also simulcast 7 BYUtv games.
Road games at UNLV (MW Network [ permanent dead link ]), at Weber State (Watch Big Sky), at Utah State (MW Network), at Utah Valley (YouTube), and the first game at Loyola Marymount (The W.tv) would have Internet TV broadcasts available.
The 2011–12 BYU Cougars men's basketball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2011–12 college basketball season. This was head coach Dave Rose's seventh season at BYU. The Cougars, in their first season in the West Coast Conference, played their home games at the Marriott Center. They finished the season 26–9, 12–4 in WCC play to finish in third place. They lost in the semifinals of the West Coast Basketball tournament to Gonzaga. They received an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA tournament where they defeated Iona in the First Four round before falling in the Round of 64 to Marquette.

It was head coach Dave Rose's eighth season at BYU and the Cougars second season in the West Coast Conference. The Cougars played their home games at the Marriott Center. The Cougars finished the regular season at 21–11, good for third place in the WCC. The Cougars accepted an invitation to the NIT, where they lost in the semifinals to eventual champion Baylor. The Cougars finished with an overall record of 24–12, one win away from what would have been a seventh consecutive 25-win season.
The 2012–13 BYU Cougars women's basketball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2012–13 college basketball season. It was head coach Jeff Judkins twelfth season at BYU. The Cougars, members of the West Coast Conference, played their home games at the Marriott Center. They finished the season 23–11, 11–5 in conference play, to finish tied for 3rd in the conference. The Cougars advanced to the second round of the 2013 Women's National Invitation Tournament, where they lost to conference foe Saint Mary's. In an unusual event, the leader at Halftime of all 3 BYU/ Saint Mary's meetings would go on to lose the match.
The 2013 BYU Cougars baseball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood was in his 1st season as head coach of the Cougars. BYU's baseball team came off a 2012 season in which they were 22–27. The Cougars played their home games at Larry H. Miller Field, part of the Miller Park Baseball/ Softball Complex. Picked to finish sixth in the WCC, BYU stunned most people and finished in a 3-way tie for second place. The Cougars won the #3 seed in the WCC Tournament where they knocked out #1-seed Gonzaga. BYU lost twice to eventual tournament champion San Diego to finish the season 32–21.
The 2014 BYU Cougars baseball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood acted in his 2nd season as head coach of the Cougars. The Cougars came off a season where they exceeded expectations. After being picked to finish sixth, the Cougars finished in a 3-way tie for second and eliminated regular season champion Gonzaga in the WCC tournament. The Cougars would finish 32–21.

Gordon Eakin enters the year as head coach of the Cougars for a 12th consecutive season. The Cougars enter 2014 being in their fourth conference in four years time. In 2011 the Cougars were part of the Mountain West Conference. In 2012 they joined the Western Athletic Conference for softball only. In 2013 they were part of the Pacific Coast Softball Conference, and in 2014 they join the West Coast Conference. The WCC is in its first season hosting softball after Pacific joined the conference, giving them the six members needed to host softball for the conference. The Cougars have won their last 3 conference championships and enter 2014 as the favorites in the WCC. The Cougars would win the conference championship with a sweep of Saint Mary's April 9 and qualify for their tenth consecutive NCAA softball tournament. After upsetting Northwestern on Thursday, the Cougars would lose twice on Friday to be eliminated from the Eugene region with a 34–23 overall record.

The Cougars were coached for a 20th consecutive season by Jennifer Rockwood, who was co-coach in 1995 and became the solo head coach in 1996. Before 1995 BYU women's soccer competed as a club team and not as a member of the NCAA. The Cougars entered the 2014 season having won back-to-back West Coast Conference championships and having made the NCAA Tournament each of the last two seasons and in 15 of the 19 seasons that Rockwood has been the head coach. The Cougars would win the WCC title and secure a berth in the College Cup, where they lost to Colorado playing in the snow.
The 2014 BYU Cougars women's volleyball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2014 NCAA Division I women's volleyball season. The Cougars, led by fourth year head coach Shawn Olmstead, played their home games at Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars were members of the WCC and were picked to win the conference title in the preseason poll.

Miller Field. The Cougars surpassed expectations in the 2015 season. BYU won 7 of their 9 conference series, claimed the 3-seed in the WCC Tournament, and lost 0 home series for the season. The Cougars went 0–2 in the WCC Tournament, losing both games in the ninth inning, to finish the season 28–25, 16–11 in conference play.
