2015 British Supersport Championship

The 2015 British Supersport Championship was the 28th British Supersport Championship season. It began at Donington Park on 5 April and ended at the Brands Hatch GP circuit on 18 October. It was won by Luke Stapleford, riding a Triumph Daytona 675. Defending champion Billy McConnell moved to the British Superbike Championship for 2015, [1] and did not defend his title.

Billy McConnell is an Australian motorcycle racer. He is signed for the OMG Racing team to ride their BMW S1000RR in the British National Superstock 1000 Championship, completing the team with Superbike riders Luke Mossey and Héctor Barberá. McConnell missed races at the start of the 2019 season due to illness.

The 2010 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship season was the 23rd running of the British Supersport Championship. The championship was contested over twelve rounds, beginning on 5 April at Brands Hatch, and finishing on 10 October at Oulton Park.

The British Supersport Championship, National Superstock 1000 & 600 and the British Motostar Championship are the four main championship series that are run as support races alongside the British Superbike Championship. In 2012 the Motostar category replaced the defunct 125cc category that had been running since the start of the British Superbike Championship in 1988, Motostar was open to both 125 and 250 machines similar to Moto 3 machines. The Supersport racing started in 1989 and is a class comprising 600cc Motorcycles that are allowed racing modifications and custom tuning. It wasn't until 2000 that the Superstock 1000 category replaced the defunct 250cc category, with the Superstock 600 championship being the newest addition on the support series in 2008. In 2010 the Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600 categories also supported the British rounds of the Superbike World Championship and the Moto GP both at Silverstone.

Jed Metcher is a former Grand Prix motorcycle racer from Australia. He is a former competitor in the Australian 125cc Championship, the Australian Supersport Championship, the Supersport World Championship, the British Superbike Championship, and the European Superstock 600 Championship where he finished as champion in 201, the IDM Supersport Championship and the IDM Superbike Championship. Jed Metcher is a supporter of the Hands Across the Water Charity bike ride.

Kyle Ryde is an English motorcycle solo road racer. For 2022 he rode in BSB with OMG Racing, switching to Yamaha machinery as used in 2021 by the McAMS team. For 2023, Ryde continues with the same team and machinery – the first time in Superbikes that he has continued for a second season on the same machine.

Josh Brookes, and his team Milwaukee Yamaha, were the previous champions but neither defended their titles and instead competed in World Superbikes.

The 2014 British Supersport season was the 27th British Supersport Championship season.

The 2017 British Superbike Championship season was the 30th British Superbike Championship season. It began at Donington on 31 March and ended at the Brands Hatch GP circuit on 15 October. Shane Byrne started the season as the defending Champion, having secured his fifth overall title in the British Superbike Championship

The 2018 British Superbike Championship season is the 31st British Superbike Championship season. Shane Byrne will start the season as the defending Champion, having secured his sixth overall title in the British Superbike Championship.

The 2022 British Supersport Championship season was the 34th British Supersport Championship season, incorporating the 2022 British GP2 Cup. Jack Kennedy started the season as the reigning champion.

The 2023 British Superbike Championship season is the 36th British Superbike Championship season. Bradley Ray is the reigning champion, but he will compete in the Superbike World Championship.
