The 2015 CFU Boys' Under-15 Championship is the inaugural Under-15 Championship organised by the Caribbean Football Union. The competition was created following the cancellation of the CONCACAF-organised Under-15 Championship. [1] The tournament is to prepare players for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Tournament.
The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) is the nominal governing body for association football in the Caribbean as well as Bermuda, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. It represents 25 FIFA member nations, as well as 6 territories that are not affiliated to FIFA. The Union was established in January 1978 and its Member Associations compete in the CONCACAF region.
The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football is the continental governing body for association football in North America, which includes Central America and the Caribbean region. Three geographically South American entities — the independent nations of Guyana and Suriname and the French overseas department of French Guiana — are also members. CONCACAF's primary functions are to organize competitions for national teams and clubs, and to conduct World Cup and Women's World Cup qualifying tournaments.
The 2017 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship was the 5th edition of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship, the men's under-17 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It was hosted in Panama between 21 April and 7 May 2017.

The Sint Maarten national football team is the football team of Sint Maarten, the Dutch half of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, and is controlled by the Sint Maarten Soccer Association. Sint Maarten is not a member of FIFA, and therefore is not eligible to enter the World Cup. However, the association planned to apply for FIFA membership in 2016.
The 2009 CFU Club Championship was the 11th edition of the CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top three teams in the tournament – W Connection, Puerto Rico Islanders, and San Juan Jabloteh – qualified for the 2009–10 CONCACAF Champions League.
The 2010 Caribbean Cup was the 2010 edition of the Caribbean Championship, an international football championship for national teams affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) of the CONCACAF region. The final stage was hosted by Martinique. Martinique were selected as hosts over fellow bidders Guadeloupe and Barbados. The competition was originally scheduled to begin on 18 August with the final match taking place on 28 November. However, at the beginning of August 2010, the CFU released a different schedule that showed the competition being postponed until 2 October. Also, the Bahamas pulled out of the competition, leaving 23 teams. The groups were changed, allowing Cuba and Antigua and Barbuda to get a bye to the second qualifying round at the expense of Guyana and the Netherlands Antilles.
The 2012 Caribbean Cup was the 17th edition of the Caribbean Cup, an international football competition for national teams of member nations affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) of the CONCACAF region. The final stage was hosted by Antigua and Barbuda. The tournament determined the four Caribbean teams that qualified for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The qualifying stage of the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship competition is handled by two regional bodies; the Caribbean Football Union and the UNCAF.

The 2016 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship was the 5th edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONCACAF for the women's under-17 national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. The tournament was hosted by Grenada and take place between 3–13 March 2016, as announced by CONCACAF on 15 May 2015. A total of eight teams will play in the tournament.

Flames United SC is a Sint Maarten football club that currently plays in the SMSA Senior League, the highest level of football on Dutch Sint Maarten. The club's home ground is the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Philipsburg, the country's capital. The club also fields a futsal team. The current manager is Omar Hunter and the current team captain is Loxley Parker.
Andre Knol is a St. Maartener international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Funmakers FC of the SMSA Senior League. At one point, he was one of the top four youngest senior international players in the world.

The qualifying phase of the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League is a one-off tournament that is being played from 6 September 2018 to 26 March 2019. The qualifying will determine the seeding for the group phase of the inaugural tournament, as well as determining the remaining ten teams which will qualify for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
