The 2015 Boels Rental Ladies Tour also known as the 2015 Holland Ladies Tour is the 18th edition of the Holland Ladies Tour, a women's cycle stage race in the Netherlands. The tour is part of the 2014 women's road cycling calendar and was held 1 September to 6 September. The tour has six stages, including an individual time trial. The tour starts with the first stages in and around Tiel and concludes with a hilly stage in Limburg. The tour has an UCI rating of 2.1. [1]

Preview

The favorites for the overall title are Ellen van Dijk (Boels-Dolmans), Amy Pieters (Liv-Plantur), Lucinda Brand (Rabo-Liv) and Lisa Brennauer (Velocio-SRAM). For Ellen van Dijk (who won the Tour in 2013) it his her first race after she broke her collarbone in the 2015 La Course by Le Tour de France. She had a speedy recovery and went to a high altitude training, but it is unknown what her shape is. [2]

For the sprint stages the most important sprinters will be: Kirsten Wild (Hitec), Jolien D'hoore (Wiggle-Honda) and Lucy Garner (Liv-Plantur).

4 September – Oosterhout to Oosterhout, (Individual time trial)11.4 km (7.1 mi) [6]

German Time Trial World Champion Lisa Brennauer (Velocio-SRAM) won the time trial, two seconds ahead of Ellen van Dijk (Boels-Dolmans). During the time trial it started raining after Brennauer and Van Dijk were finished, which was a disadvantage for the riders finishing later. Brennauer was very happy winning in het world champion rainbow jersey. Van Dijk, who won the time trial previous year and the 2013 World Time Trial Champion broke her collarbone at the 2015 La Course by Le Tour de France. She was also happy with her result and gave her confidence that she was well recovered. With winning the time trial Brennauer also took the lead in the general classification. [7]

Velocio–SRAM Pro Cycling, formerly known as Specialized–lululemon, was a professional cycling team based in the United States that competes in elite road bicycle racing and track cycling events. The final-season title sponsors were SRAM Corporation and Cervelo bicycles. Velocio Sports was the holding company for the team and the place-holder during a larger search for a title sponsor.

2013 Holland Ladies Tour cycling race

The 2013 Boels Ladies Tour also known as the 2013 Holland Ladies Tour is the 16th edition of the Holland Ladies Tour, a women's cycle stage race in the Netherlands. The tour will be held from 3 September to 8 September, 2013. The tour has an UCI rating of 2.1.

The 2013 season was the eleventh for the Specialized–lululemon cycling team, which began as the T-Mobile team in 2003. Three riders joined the team in 2013, American cyclists Carmen Small and Tayler Wiles, and the Canadian Gillian Carleton. Charlotte Becker, Emilia Fahlin, Chloe Hosking, Clara Hughes and Amber Neben left the team in the post-Olympic year. The year was marked with a crash of Ina-Yoko Teutenberg at the Drenste 8 in March. She was unable to ride for the remainder of the season and ended her career afterwards. Ellen van Dijk became the leader of the team and had a great season. She won the general classification of a stage race four times as well as several one-day races and finished four times on the podium in World Cup races. Above all she won the World Time Trial Championships. Van Dijk finished 3rd in the final World Cup standings and also 3rd in the UCI World Ranking. Evelyn Stevens had to miss the Tour of Flanders due to a fall. She finished fifth in the Giro Rosa, third in the Route de France, with the American Team and finished behind teammates Ellen van Dijk and Carmen Small, fourth in the time trial at the World Championships. She finished ultimately 7th in the UCI world Ranking. The team was, like last year, undefeated in the team time trials and won the World Team Time Trial Championships in September. The team finished 3rd in the UCI World Ranking.

The 2014 women's road cycling season was the fifth for the Boels Dolmans Cycling Team, which began as the Dolmans Landscaping Team in 2010. The main new rider for the team was the Time Trial World Champion Ellen van Dijk, after have ridden 5 years for Specialized–lululemon. After winning the Omloop van het Hageland in early March, Lizzie Armitstead won also the first World Cup race, the Ronde van Drenthe. She would finish later three times in second place in the later World Cup races and keeping the lead in the overall World Cup classification. In begin April, after a solo of 30 km Ellen van Dijk won the Tour of Flanders World Cup race.

The tour has six stages, it starts with an individual trial over 10.1 km (6.3 mi) in Tiel and concludes with a hilly stage in Limburg. The tour has an UCI rating of 2.1.

The 2015 women's road cycling season was the sixth for the Boels–Dolmans, which began as the Dolmans Landscaping Team in 2010.

The 2015 Ladies Tour of Qatar was the 7th edition of the Ladies Tour of Qatar. It was organised by the Qatar Cycling Federation with technical and sports-related assistance from Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) under the regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale. It took place from Tuesday 3 February until Friday 6 February 2015 and consisted of 4 stages. 15 teams of 6 riders took part. The event was broadcast live by beIN Sports.

2015 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad (womens race) cycling race

The 2015 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad – Women's race was raced on 28 February 2015. It was the 10th women's edition of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. The race started and finished in Ghent, Belgium, totaling 120.5 kilometres in the province of East Flanders. Dutch rider Anna van der Breggen won in a two-up sprint with Ellen van Dijk.

The 2015 Energiewacht Tour was the 5th edition of the Energiewacht Tour, a stage race primarily held in the Netherlands, with a UCI rating of 2.2, from 8 to 12 April. The last stage took place on the island of Borkum in Germany.

2015 The Womens Tour cycling race

The 2015 Aviva Women's Tour was the second staging of The Women's Tour, a women's stage race held in the United Kingdom. It ran from 17 to 21 June 2015 and had a UCI rating of 2.1. As in 2014, the race consisted of 5 stages and ran through southern and eastern England. The defending champion, Marianne Vos, was unable to participate due to injury. The winner of the first stage, Lizzie Armitstead, was unable to participate further in the race after she crashed crossing the finishing line, sustaining a sprained wrist and heavy bruising.

Canyon–SRAM German cycling team

Canyon–SRAM is a professional women's cycling team that competes in elite women's road bicycle racing events, such as the UCI Women's World Tour. The title sponsors are Canyon Bicycles and SRAM Corporation. The team's clothing is provided by London-based Rapha. Ronny Lauke set the team up after the demise of his former team Velocio–SRAM.

2016 Ladies Tour of Qatar cycling race

The 2016 Ladies Tour of Qatar was the 8th edition of the Ladies Tour of Qatar. 2019 Three Days of Bruges–De Panne (womens race) cycling race

The second running of the women's event of the Three Days of Bruges–De Panne, also called Lotto Women Classic Bruges–De Panne, was held on 28 March 2019. The race started in Bruges and finished in De Panne with two 15 km (9.3 mi) loops between De Panne and Koksijde, totalling 134.4 km (83.5 mi). It was the fourth leg of the 2019 UCI Women's World Tour. Defending champion Jolien D'Hoore did not compete after breaking her collar bone in the Drentse 8.

The tour was part of the 2019 women's road cycling calendar and was part of the UCI Women's World Tour. It ran from 3 to 8 September 2019.
