The arena also hosts major concerts, sports, and entertainment events throughout the year.

Brian Brikowski is an American football defensive end and linebacker who is currently a free agent. Brikowski was a member of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League until his release in June 2015. Brikowski has previously played for the Chicago Rush in the Arena Football League. Brikowski also played for the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks of the Indoor Football League.

The 2013 Indoor Football League season was the fifth season of the Indoor Football League (IFL). Playing with nine teams in two conferences spread across the United States, the league's regular season kicked off on February 15, 2013, when the Sioux Falls Storm beat the Green Bay Blizzard 64–41. The season ended on June 15, 2013, with the visiting Sioux Falls Storm defeating the Texas Revolution 52-38.

The Winston Wildcats were an indoor football team based in Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. The Wildcats joined the professional American Indoor Football (AIF) as an expansion team in 2015. When they were in the AIF, their home games were at the LJVM Coliseum Annex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dwayne Hollis is an American football defensive back for the Albany Empire of the National Arena League (NAL). He played college football at North Carolina Wesleyan College and attended Denbigh High School in Newport News, Virginia. He has also been a member of the Helsinki Roosters, Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, Trenton Freedom, Shanghai Skywalkers, and Atlanta Legends.
