The 2015 USASA National Women's Open was the 20th staging of the tournament, and the third under a new format that eliminates regional qualification. The finals included four teams and took place from July 16 to 19.

The USASA National Women's Open is an American women's soccer tournament run by the United States Adult Soccer Association. It began in 1996, and from 2009-2012 it was known as the Women's Cup. Before the formation of the Women's Open, the Women's Amateur was the top national cup competition.

The defending champions were the NY Athletic Club who became the second-winningest team in the competition and winningest still-active team.

New York Athletic Club womens soccer team

New York Athletic Club is an American women’s soccer team, founded in 2005. The team is a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the second tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team plays in the North Division of the East Conference.

The four teams participating were the ASA Chesapeake Charge, Fredericksburg FC, NY Athletic Club, and Olympic Club, competing in a round-robin. Due to inclement weather, the planned final was not played, and group stage winners Olympic Club were crowned champions after upsetting the ASA Chesapeake Charge on the final day of group play. [1]

ASA Chesapeake Charge

ASA Chesapeake Charge is an amateur, American women's soccer club that played in the Women's Premier Soccer League, the second level of women's soccer in the United States founded in 2010. It also participated in the Women's Premier Soccer League Elite in 2012, the league's lone season. It played its home games in various stadiums, mostly on high-school and college grounds, in Chesapeake Bay area, and in the state of Maryland.

Fredericksburg FC

Fredericksburg FC is an American soccer team based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States. Founded in 1986, the team plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the United States soccer league system, in the Mid-Atlantic Division. The women's team plays in the Women's Premier Soccer League, a national amateur league at the second tier of the United States soccer league system, in the Colonial Division.

Olympic Club

The Olympic Club is an athletic club and private social club in San Francisco, California.

Olympic Club's victory follows their victory in the amateur cup last season. The Charge were left in second place for the second year in a row.
