The 2015 Pittsburgh Riverhounds season was the club's sixteenth season of existence. It is the Riverhounds' fifth season playing in the United Soccer League, and the club's third season hosting matches at soccer-specific Highmark Stadium.
The 2015 USL season was the fifth season of the United Soccer League (USL) and the first under its new name. This season represented a substantial expansion from 14 teams in 2014 to 24 teams in 2015, and the division of the league into two conferences. It is also the 29th season of third-division soccer in the United States.
The 2015 Louisville City FC season was the club's first season playing in Louisville, Kentucky in the United Soccer League (USL), in the third tier of the United States soccer league system.
The 2015 Saint Louis FC season was the franchise's first season in the United Soccer League, the third division of soccer in the United States.
The 2015 Rochester Rhinos season was the club's twentieth season. It was the Rhinos fifth-consecutive year in the third tier of American soccer, playing in the United Soccer League Eastern Conference. The Rhinos finished the regular season in first place, clinching the #1 seed and home field advantage in the 2015 USL Playoffs. The Rhinos won the USL Championship, the club's 5th overall, by defeating LA Galaxy II 2–1 after extra time.
The 2015 New York Red Bulls II season was the club's first season of existence, and their first in United Soccer League, the third-tier of the American soccer pyramid. The Red Bulls II played in the Eastern Division of USL.
The 2015 season was the Harrisburg City Islanders's 12th season of competitive soccer–its twelfth season in the third division of American soccer and its fifth season in the United Soccer League since the league was first created with the City Islanders as one of the original ten founder-members.
