The 2016 Toronto FC II season was the second season in the club's history. In 2015 the team finished 11th in the Eastern Conference, therefore, missing the playoffs.

The 2013 USL Pro season was the 27th season of third-division soccer in the United States, and is the third season of the United Soccer Leagues' (USL) PRO professional competition. The number of teams increased from eleven to thirteen with Phoenix FC and VSI Tampa Bay FC joining the league as expansion franchises.

The 2013 Phoenix FC season was the club's only season of existence, playing in the USL Professional Division.

The 2013 Pittsburgh Riverhounds season was the club's fourteenth season of existence. It was the Riverhounds' third season playing in the USL Professional Division. It was the first season the Riverhounds will play at Highmark Stadium, a newly built 3,500 capacity soccer specific stadium.

The 2013 season was the Harrisburg City Islanders's 10th season of competitive soccer - its tenth season in the third division of American soccer and its third season in USL Pro since the league was first created with the City Islanders as one of the original 10 founder-members.

The 2015 Wilmington Hammerheads season was the club's nineteenth season of competitive soccer, and their fifth consecutive season since their one-year hiatus in 2010.

The 2015 Toronto FC II season was the first season in the club's history.

The 2015 Rochester Rhinos season was the club's twentieth season. It was the Rhinos fifth-consecutive year in the third tier of American soccer, playing in the United Soccer League Eastern Conference. The Rhinos finished the regular season in first place, clinching the #1 seed and home field advantage in the 2015 USL Playoffs. The 2016 FC Cincinnati season was the club's first season of existence, and their first in the United Soccer League, the third-tier of the American soccer pyramid. FC Cincinnati play in the Eastern Division of USL. On April 16, the club set the USL's regular season attendance record, with 20,497. They broke this record twice more later in their season, first on May 14 with 23,375 attendees, then again on September 17 with an attendance of 24,376. On July 20, with five games left, the club broke the USL's single season attendance record.

The 2016 Rochester Rhinos season was the club's 21st year of existence, and their sixth season in the third tier of the United States soccer pyramid, playing in the United Soccer League Eastern Conference. They entered the season as defending USL champions and made it back to the playoffs, but were eliminated in the conference semi-finals by the New York Red Bulls II.

The 2017 Toronto FC II season was the third season in the club's history. In 2016 the team finished 12th in the Eastern Conference and missed the playoffs.

The 2017 season was Bethlehem Steel FC's second season of competitive soccer in the United Soccer League and first season competing in the second division of American soccer. Steel FC competed in the league's Eastern Conference.

The 2017 season was the Harrisburg City Islanders's 14th season of competitive soccer - its first in the second division of American soccer, and its seventh season in the United Soccer League.

The 2017 Richmond Kickers season was the club's twenty-fifth season of existence. It was also the Kickers' 10th season playing in the second-tier of American soccer, and their first season in the second division since 2005. The Kickers played in the United Soccer League for their sixth straight season.

The 2017 Pittsburgh Riverhounds season was the club's eighteenth season of existence, and their seventh consecutive season in the United Soccer League, the second tier of American soccer. Pittsburgh also competed in the U.S. Open Cup. The season covered the period from September 25, 2016, to the beginning of the 2018 USL season.
