The winner of the tournament (Lincoln) qualified for the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League and would have entered the tournament in the first qualifying round. Since Lincoln also won the 2014–15 Gibraltar Premier Division, the place reserved for the cup winner went to the second place team in the league.

The First Round draw was held 2 December 2014. [1] All teams in this round were Gibraltar Second Division teams. Red Imps and Gibraltar Phoenix received a bye to the next round. [2]

They play in the Gibraltar National League, and share Victoria Stadium with all other clubs in the territory. They are the country's record champion with 24 league titles, including fourteen consecutive titles between 2003 and 2016, and in 2014 were the first team to represent Gibraltar in the UEFA Champions League. In August 2021, Lincoln became the first club from Gibraltar to ever reach the group stages of a European club competition after defeating the Latvian champions Riga FC in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The 2014 Rock Cup was the season of Gibraltar's annual main knock-out football tournament. The competition began on 8 January 2014 with the First Round and ended with the final held on 10 May 2014.

The Gibraltar Premier Cup, also known as the Gibraltar Senior Cup, was an association football league cup in Gibraltar established in 2013 for the 8 teams that compose the Gibraltar Premier Division. It was created to coincide with the new league structure and the Gibraltar Football Association's admittance to UEFA in May 2013. With the Premier League expanding to ten teams in 2015, future Premier Cups will consist of ten teams.

The 2014–15 Gibraltar Cup, also known as the Senior Cup 2014-15, is the 2nd edition of the Gibraltar Premier Cup, a competition for the teams in the Gibraltar Premier Division, the top tier of football in Gibraltar.

The 2015–16 Gibraltar Premier Division was the 117th season of the national amateur and semi-professional football league in Gibraltar since its establishment - the highest level of football in Gibraltar.
