2016 LPGA of Korea Tour

The 2016 LPGA of Korea Tour is the 39th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consists of 37 golf tournaments, 31 played in South Korea, three in China, two in Vietnam, and one in Japan.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is an American organization for female golfers. The organization is headquartered at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is best known for running the LPGA Tour, a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite women professional golfers from around the world.

Professional golf tours are the means by which otherwise unconnected professional golf tournaments are organized into a regular schedule. Jiyai Shin is a former world No. 1 ranked South Korean professional golfer who primarily plays on the LPGA of Japan Tour. She previously played primarily on the LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Korea Tour (KLPGA). She has broken existing KLPGA records, winning 10 events in 19 starts on the KLPGA Tour in 2007. In 2008, playing only 10 tournaments on the LPGA Tour as a non-member, she won three events, including the Women's British Open and the ADT Championship. She has been ranked No. 1 in the Women's World Golf Rankings for 25 weeks and was the first Asian to be ranked No. 1. With 65 wins worldwide on six different tours, she is the winningest Korean golfer, male or female, of all time.

Inbee Park is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. She has been the number one ranked player in the Women's World Golf Rankings for four separate runs: April 2013 to June 2014, October 2014 to February 2015, June 2015 to October 2015, and from April to July 2018.

The 2013 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The Tour began in Australia on February 14 and ended on November 24 in Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States–based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).

The 2013 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 36th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consisted of 23 golf tournaments, 20 played in South Korea, two played in China, and one played in Taiwan. Jang Ha-na won three tournaments and was the leading money winner with earnings of ₩689,542,549.

The 2014 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 37th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consisted of 29 golf tournaments, 25 played in South Korea, two in China, one in Taiwan, and one in Japan. Kim Hyo-joo won five tournaments and was the leading money winner with earnings of ₩1,208,978,590.

The 2015 LPGA of Korea Tour is the 38th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consists of 31 golf tournaments, 28 played in South Korea, two in China, and one in Japan.

The 2017 LPGA of Korea Tour is the 40th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consists of 33 golf tournaments, 29 played in South Korea, three in China, and one in Japan. Hanwha Finance Classic became one of the tour's major tournaments starting from this season, which makes the tour have 5 major tournaments.

The 2018 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 41st season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association.

The 2019 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 42nd season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. The season began at Twin Doves Golf Club in Vietnam in December 2018, and ended at Woojeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan.

Lee Jeong-eun is a South Korean professional golfer who currently plays on the LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Korea Tour. For scoring purposes, she is called Jeongeun Lee6 to differentiate herself from other Korean LPGA golfers with that name, including the older Jeongeun Lee5.

The 2020 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 43rd season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. The season began at Twin Doves Golf Club in Vietnam in December 2019.
