2016 Men's World Floorball Championships qualifying

The qualifying for the 2016 Men's World Floorball Championships took place between 2 and 14 February 2016. A total of 33 teams [1] competed for fifteen spots. The final tournament was organized by Latvia in December 2016.

Floorball is a type of floor hockey with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. Men and women play indoors with 96–115.5 cm-long (37.8–45.5 in) sticks and a 70–72 mm-diameter (2.76–2.83 in) plastic ball with holes. Matches are played in three twenty-minute periods. The sport of bandy also played a role in the game's development.

The 2007–08 Men's EuroFloorball Cup Qualifying rounds took place over 29 August – 9 September 2007 in three different host nations. The winner of each group advanced to the 2007–08 Men's EuroFloorball Cup Finals, where they had a chance to win the EuroFloorball Cup for 2007–08. A total of 15 teams played in the qualifying round, all from different countries.

The 2010 Men's World Floorball Championships were the eighth men's Floorball World Championships. The tournament was held from 4 December to 11 December 2010 in the cities of Helsinki, and Vantaa, Finland.

The 2009 Men's under-19 World Floorball Championships were the fifth world championships in men's under-19 floorball. The tournament took place between 6 and 10 May 2009 in Raisio and Turku, Finland.

The 2010 Men's World Floorball Championships Qualifying Rounds were the first such qualifiers for world championships in men's floorball. Four separate qualifying tournaments were played, with European qualifications between the dates of February 3 to February 6, 2010 in the cities of Babimost and Zbąszyń in Poland, as well as in the city of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain.

The 2012 Men's World Floorball Championships were the ninth men's Floorball World Championships. The tournament took place in Bern and Zurich, Switzerland in December 2012.

The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. This was the third time that the World Championship was hosted in the Middle East And North Africa, after Egypt in 1999 and Tunisia in 2005.

The 2014 Men's World Floorball Championships were the 10th World Championships in men's floorball. The tournament took place in Gothenburg, Sweden in December 2014. Home team Sweden defended their title in a close game against Finland. Czech Republic earned the bronze after defeating Switzerland by 4–3.

The qualifying for the 2014 Men's World Floorball Championships took part in early 2014. A total of 30 teams competed for fifteen spots. The final tournament was organized by Sweden in December 2014.

Slovenia women's national floorball team is the national team of Slovenia. The team participated in the Qualification to the B-Division for the 2007 Floorball Women's World Championship. The qualifiers were held in Wolsztyn, Poland and Kapfenberg, Austria. The team did not advance out of qualifiers. The team participated in the Qualification to the B-Division for the 2009 Floorball Women's World Championship. The qualifiers were held in Idrija, Slovenia. The team did not advance out of qualifiers.

Estonia women's national floorball team is the national team of Estonia. The team participated in the Qualification to the B-Division for the 2007 Floorball Women's World Championship. The Philippines women's national floorball team is the women's national floorball team of the Philippines and is organized by Philippine Floorball Association.

The 2017 Women's World Floorball Championships was the 11th World Championships in women's floorball. The tournament took place in Bratislava in Slovakia between 1–9 December 2017. Sixteen teams participated and the competition was won by Sweden.

The 2018 Men's World Floorball Championships were the 12th World Championships in men's floorball. The tournament took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from 1 to 9 December 2018.

The qualifying for the 2018 Men's World Floorball Championships took place between 22 January and 11 February 2018. A total of 33 teams competed for sixteen spots. The final tournament was organized by Czech Republic in December 2018.

The 2020 Men's World Floorball Championships was the 13th World Championships in men's floorball. The tournament took place in Helsinki, Finland, during 3–11 December 2021. Originally planned for December 2020, it was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2025 Rugby League World Cup qualification is the qualifying process which will decide the 7 teams that would join the 8 quarter-finalists from the 2021 World Cup and hosts France, who received an automatic spot, at the 2025 Rugby League World Cup. The process commenced in 2021, with the 2021 Rugby League European Championship D, which acted as the first round for European qualification.
