The New England Black Wolves are a lacrosse team based in Uncasville, Connecticut playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2016 season will be the team's second season in the league.
The New England Black Wolves are a professional box lacrosse team based in Uncasville, Connecticut. They are members of the National Lacrosse League and began play in the winter of 2014–2015 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. The team is partially owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut, and partially owned by Brad Brewster.
Uncasville is an area in the town of Montville, Connecticut, United States. It is a village in southeastern Montville, at the mouth of the Oxoboxo River. The name is now applied more generally to all of the east end of Montville, which is the area served by the Uncasville ZIP Code.
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the NLL currently has twelve teams: eight in the United States and four in Canada. The NLL ranks third in average attendance for pro indoor sports worldwide, behind only the NHL and NBA. Unlike other box lacrosse leagues which play in the summer, the NLL plays its games in the winter and spring, from December to June. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the National Lacrosse League Cup. The NLL has averaged between 9,800 and 10,700 spectators per game each year since 2004.

Kevin Crowley is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League and the Charlotte Hounds in Major League Lacrosse. Crowley is the only player in the history of lacrosse to be drafted first overall in both professional leagues. Crowley attended New Westminster Secondary School and played his collegiate lacrosse at Stony Brook University.

Brent Adams is a professional lacrosse player for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse and Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. Adams was an All-American midfielder at Fairfield University and played for the United States men's national lacrosse team.

The 2015 Minnesota Swarm season is the eleventh and final season of the Minnesota Swarm, a lacrosse team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota playing in the National Lacrosse League. Beginning in 2016 the Swarm will relocate to Duluth, Georgia and become the Georgia Swarm.
