The 2016 WK League was the eighth season of the WK League, South Korea's top level women's football league. The regular season began on 14 March 2016 and ended on 17 October 2016. Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels won their fourth title in a row by beating Icheon Daekyo in the Championship Final.

The WK League is a semi-professional women's football league, run by the Korea Football Association (KFA) and the Korea Women's Football Federation (KWFF), which represents the sport's highest level in South Korea. The regular season runs from March to October, with each team playing 21 games.
The 2009 WK League was the inaugural season of the WK League, the South Korean women's football league. It began on 20 April 2009 with the first matches of the regular season and ended on 16 November 2009 with the return leg of the Championship Final. The slogan of the 2009 season was "Beautiful Football".
