Bigg Boss is an Indian television reality show of the Bigg Boss franchise which airs on Colors TV in India. It follows the format of the Dutch reality game show, Big Brother, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Over 17 years, the show has rolled out seventeen seasons and two spin-off versions.

<i>Bigg Boss</i> (Hindi TV series) season 1 Season of television series

Bigg Boss is the first season of the Indian reality TV programme Bigg Boss. It aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 3 November 2006 to 26 January 2007, a total of 86 days. Unlike other versions of Big Brother, the Indian version uses celebrities, not members of the general public, as housemates. The first season was hosted by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi. The 86-episode series ended on 26 January 2007 with Rahul Roy becoming the winner while Carol Gracias became the runner-up.

He then starred in several TV shows like Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and hosted reality shows like MTV Roadies, MTV Love School, Dance Deewane Juniors and Temptation Island India. Kundra has also featured in films like Mubarakan, 1921 and Tera Kya Hoga Lovely. In 2021, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 15 and emerged as the 2nd runner-up.

Karishma Tanna Bangera is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Hindi films and television shows. She made her television debut with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2001. She is well known for her roles in Paalkhi, Naagin 3 and Qayamat Ki Raat. She was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 8 in 2014, where she emerged as the 1st runner-up. In 2020, she participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and emerged as the winner.

Sidharth Shukla was an Indian actor, host and model who mostly appeared in Hindi television and films. He was known for his roles in Balika Vadhu, Broken But Beautiful 3 and Dil Se Dil Tak. He emerged as the winner of reality shows Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He hosted Savdhaan India and India's Got Talent. He won the World's Best Model title in December 2005 beating 40 other participants from across Asia, Latin America, and Europe. He made his acting debut with a lead role in the 2008 show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut in a supporting role in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Salman Khan hosted the season for the tenth time. The finale was scheduled for January, but it was given a one-month extension, and became the second-longest season. The grand finale of the show took place on 15 February 2020, when Sidharth Shukla emerged as the winner and Asim Riaz as the runner-up. Bigg Boss 13 became the most successful Bigg Boss season since the inception of the series and also the most watched. It had an average 2.1-2.5 TRP every week.

Salman Khan hosted the season for the eleventh time. The Grand Finale took place on 21 February 2021 where Rubina Dilaik emerged as the winner and Rahul Vaidya became runner-up. It was the longest season in the history of Bigg Boss making Rubina Dilaik the longest staying contestant and winner of the show since inception.

It premiered on Colors TV on 1 October 2022. Salman Khan hosted the show for the thirteenth time. In the grand finale, aired on 12 February 2023, MC Stan emerged as the winner and Shiv Thakare as the runner-up. The season went on to becomes second most successful seasons in the show's history.

Bigg Boss 15, also known as Bigg Boss: "Sankat in Jungle" or Bigg Boss: Pan Pana Pan Pandrah was the fifteenth season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss. It premiered on 2 October 2021 on Colors TV. Salman Khan hosted the season for the twelve time. The grand finale aired on 30 January 2022 where Tejasswi Prakash emerged as the winner and Pratik Sehajpal as the runner-up. The season marked a series of disappointments for the franchise and the show recorded the lowest TRP of just 0.8.

<i>Bigg Boss OTT</i> (Hindi TV series) Indian Hindi-language digital reality series

Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off Indian Hindi-language reality digital series of the show Bigg Boss streaming on Voot for the first season and on JioCinema for the second season and JioCinema Premium for the third season. The digital edition has been hosted by Karan Johar and Salman Khan for the first and second seasons respectively while Anil Kapoor is the current host for the third season. The show premiered its first season on 8 August 2021.
