The 2017 ConIFA European Football Cup was the second edition of the ConIFA European Football Cup, an international football tournament for states, minorities, stateless peoples and regions unaffiliated with FIFA organised by ConIFA. It was hosted in Northern Cyprus.
Following the 2015 ConIFA European Football Cup, the next tournament was announced to take place between 4–11 June 2017 in Northern Cyprus at the organization's Annual General Meeting in February 2017. [1] A total of eight teams were announced as taking part in the tournament, planned to be held across four locations. [2]
A total of eight teams were announced as participating – both the current European Football Cup holders Padania and reigning World Football Cup champions Abkhazia were automatically qualified, with the remainder voted on by ConIFA members. [1]

North Nicosia or Northern Nicosia is the capital and largest city of the de facto state of Northern Cyprus. It is the northern part of the divided city of Nicosia and is governed by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality. As of 2011, North Nicosia had a population of 61,378 and a metropolitan area with a population of 82,539.

They were a member of the New Federations Board for non-FIFA-affiliated nations, until its dissolution in 2013. Parliamentary elections were held in Cyprus in 1960. The House of Representatives was elected on 31 July 1960. The Communal Chambers were also elected on 7 August. In the House of Representatives 35 seats were elected by Greek Cypriots and 15 by Turkish Cypriots. The result was a victory for the Patriotic Front, which won 30 of the 50 seats. In the Communal Chambers, the Patriotic Front won the majority of seats in the Greek Chamber, whilst the Cyprus Turkish National Union won all seats in the Turkish Chamber.

The 2019 Atlantic Heritage Cup is the first edition of the Atlantic Heritage Cup, and acts as a qualification tournament for the 2020 CONIFA World Football Cup in Skopje, North Macedonia. Yorkshire were announced as hosts in March 2019, with Parishes of Jersey, Ellan Vannin and Kernow also originally set to participate. All 4 teams are either part of the United Kingdom, or are Crown dependencies. However, Ellan Vannin and Kernow both pulled out for undisclosed reasons, being replaced by Chagos Islands and reducing the tournament to a 3 team format.
