The NCAA Bowling Championship is a sanctioned women's championship in college athletics. Unlike many NCAA sports, only one championship is held each season with teams from Division I, Division II, and Division III competing together. Sixteen teams, eight of them automatic qualifiers and the other eight being at-large selections, are chosen by the NCAA Bowling Committee to compete in the championships. The championship was first held in April 2004.

The 2008 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament was held from May 30 through June 25, 2008 and was part of the 2008 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64 NCAA Division I college baseball teams were selected out of an eligible 286 teams on May 26, 2008. Thirty teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and 34 teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. Thirty-eight of the 64 selected teams participated in the 2007 tournament.
The 2005 Conference USA Baseball Tournament was the 2005 postseason college baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Conference USA, held at Pete Taylor Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi from May 25 through May 29, 2005. Both TCU and Tulane were declared co-champions due to inclement weather but Tulane was given the automatic bid to the 2005 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The tournament consisted of eight teams, with two double-elimination brackets, and a single-game final that was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament decides the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference. The top four finishers in each conference division participate in a two-bracket, double-elimination tournament, most recently played at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, between May 19 and May 23, 2021. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament and, since 2019, to the HBCU World Series.

The Ivy League Men's Basketball Tournament is the postseason conference tournament in men's basketball for the Ivy League. It was first held in 2017, and is held alongside the Ivy women's tournament, also introduced in 2017, at the same venue. The overall event is currently marketed as Ivy Madness. The Ivy League was the last NCAA Division I conference without a postseason tournament.
The 2016 Big Sky Conference Softball tournament will be held at Wildcat Softball Field on the campus of the Weber State University in Ogden, UT from May 12 through May 14, 2016. The tournament winner will earn the Big Sky Conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. This is the first time the tournament will feature six teams. All games will be streamed online by Watch Big Sky with Jon Oglesby on the call.

Clements Stadium on the campus of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia from May 24 to May 28, 2017, using a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2017 National Invitational Softball Championship (NISC) began on May 16, 2017 and concluded on May 24. The Liberty University Lady Flames defeated the Lamar University Lady Cardinals in a controversial rain-shortened two-game final on Liberty's home.field in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The tournament was to determine the champion of the American Athletic Conference for the 2019 NCAA Division I softball season. The tournament winner would have earned the American Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games of the tournament aired on American Digital Network. Due to Weather conditions the last quarterfinal game between Houston and UConn, along with the two semifinal games, and championship game were canceled. Therefore the Automatic bid was awarded to the regular season champion South Florida.
The 2019 Big 12 Conference Softball tournament will be held at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from May 10 through May 11, 2019. The tournament winner will earn the Big 12 Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. All games of the tournament aired on Fox College Sports, the championship game will air on FS2. Due to Weather conditions, the last 4 games of the Big 12 Tournament were canceled. Therefore the Automatic bid was given to the regular season champion which would be Oklahoma.
