The 2018 Duquesne Dukes football team represented Duquesne University in the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by 14th-year head coach Jerry Schmitt and played their home games at Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field. They played as a member of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 9–4, 5–1 in NEC play to be NEC co-champions with Sacred Heart. Due to their head-to-head win over Sacred Heart, they received the NEC's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where they defeated Towson in the first round before losing in the second round to South Dakota State.

The Albany Great Danes football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the University at Albany located in the U.S. state of New York. The team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) as a member of CAA Football, the legally separate football league administered by the multi-sports Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). The 2013 season was the Great Danes' first in CAA Football, following a 14-year tenure in the Northeast Conference. Ten years later, they won their first-ever CAA championship, sharing the title with Villanova and Richmond.
The Duquesne Dukes football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Duquesne University located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and is a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC). Duquesne has played as a club team from 1891 to 1894, 1896 to 1903, 1913 to 1914, and 1920 to 1928, as a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) member from 1929 to 1942 and 1947 to 1950, again as a club team from 1969 to 1978, in NCAA Division III from 1979 to 1992, and in the NCAA Division I FCS from 1993 to present.

They were led by ninth year head coach Jerry Schmitt and played their home games at Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field. They were a member of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 7–4, 4–2 in NEC play to share the conference title with Sacred Heart. Due to their loss to Sacred Heart, they did not receive the conference's automatic playoff bid and did not receive an at-large bid.
The 2013 Sacred Heart Pioneers football team represented Sacred Heart University as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) during the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by second-year head coach Mark Nofri, the Pioneers compiled an overall record of 10–3 with a mark of 4–2 in conference play, sharing the NEC title with Duquesne. Due to a head-to-head win the Duquesne, Sacred Heart earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs. The Pioneers made the first playoff appearance in program history, losing in the first round to Fordham. The team played home games at Campus Field in Fairfield, Connecticut.
The 2014 Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens football team represented the University of Delaware as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) during the 2014 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by second-year head coach Dave Brock, the Fightin' Blue Hens compiled an overall record of 6–6 with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, placing in a four-way tie for fifth in the CAA. The team played home games at Delaware Stadium in Newark, Delaware.
The 2015 Duquesne Dukes football team represented Duquesne University in the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by 11th-year head coach Jerry Schmitt and played their home games at Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field. They were a member of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 8–4, 5–1 in NEC play to win the NEC championship. They received the NEC's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs where they lost in the first round to William & Mary.
The 2018 Wagner Seahawks football team represented Wagner College in the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC). They were led by fourth-year head coach Jason Houghtaling and played their home games at Wagner College Stadium. Wagner finished the season 4–7 overall and 3–3 in NEC play to place fourth.
The 2018 Bryant Bulldogs football team represented Bryant University as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) during the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led James Perry in his second and final season as head coach, the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 6–5 with a mark of 2–4 in conference play, tying for fifth place in the NEC. Bryant played home games at Beirne Stadium in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

The 2019 Wagner Seahawks football team represented Wagner College in the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC). They were led by fifth-year head coach Jason Houghtaling and played their home games at Wagner College Stadium. Wagner finished the season 1–11 overall and 1–6 in NEC play to place seventh. Houghtaling was fired after the season.

The 2019 LIU Sharks football team represented both the LIU Post and LIU Brooklyn campuses of Long Island University in the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sacred Heart original's schedule for the fall of 2020 was cancelled, and the team played a shortened schedule in the spring of 2021 instead. Led by ninth-year head coach Mark Nofri, the Pioneers compiled an overall record of 3–2 with a mark of 2–1 in conference play, placing second in the NEC during the regular season. Sacred Heart qualified for the NEC Championship Game and defeated Duquesne to win the conference title. The Pioneers advanced to the NCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs, losing in the first round to Delaware. Sacred Heart played home games at Campus Field in Fairfield, Connecticut.
