The 2018 Patriot League men's soccer tournament, will be the 29th edition of the tournament. It determined the Patriot League's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.

The Colgate Raiders are the two-time defending champions, and successfully defended their title defeating Army 1–0 in the final. [1]

Background

The 2017 tournament was won by Colgate Raiders, who qualified for the tournament on the last day of the regular season as the sixth and final seed in the tournament. Colgate were able to capture their seventh Patriot League Tournament championship, tying them with Lafayette. En-route to the final, Colgate upset third-seed Bucknell and top seed Loyola. In the final, a 67th minute striker from Oliver Harris sealed the title for the Raiders against Holy Cross.

With the championship, Colgate earned an automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Tournament. There they made a run to the Sweet Sixteen, upsetting No. 24 UMass [2] [3] [4] [5] and No. 13 Michigan along the way. [6] [7] [8] Colgate ultimately fell to Louisville. [9]

The 2003 Colgate Raiders football team was an American football team that represented Colgate University during the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Colgate was undefeated in the regular season, won the Patriot League championship and played in the Division I-AA national championship game.

The 2021 Patriot League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Patriot League held from October 31 through November 7, 2021. The tournament was held at campus sites, with the higher seeded team hosting. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Navy Midshipmen, however they were unable to defend their crown, after losing to Bucknell in the Semifinals. Bucknell went on to win the tournament, defeating Boston University, who were the #1 seed, 1–0 in the final. The conference championship was the fifth for the Bucknell women's soccer program, three of which have come under head coach Kelly Cook. As tournament champions, Bucknell earned the Patriot League's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2022 Patriot League men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Patriot League held from November 5 through November 12, 2022. The tournament was held at campus sites, with the higher seeded team hosting. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Loyola Greyhounds. They were unable to defend their crown, as they finished in seventh place during the regular season and did not qualify for the tournament. The Navy Midshipmen would go on to claim the title, defeating American in the final, 1–0. The conference championship was the second for the Navy men's soccer program, and the first for head coach Tim O'Donohue. As tournament champions, Loyola earned the Patriot League's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
