The 2018 Sun Belt Conference men's soccer tournament was the 24th edition of the Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Tournament. The tournament will decide the Sun Belt Conference champion. The tournament will be begin on November 7 and conclude on November 11. [1]

Contents

Coastal Carolina were the defending champions. However, they were unable to defend their title, losing to Georgia State 1–2 in the Semifinals. Georgia State went on to win the tournament 4–2 over Georgia Southern in the final. This was the first Sun Belt Conference Championship for Georgia State. [2] [3]

The Georgia Southern Eagles are the athletic team(s) of Georgia Southern University (GS). The Eagles compete in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and are members of the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. The Eagles finished the regular season 8–4, 6–2 in Sun Belt play to finish in third place. In the Eagles' first ever bowl appearance, the Eagles defeated Bowling Green, 58–27, in the GoDaddy Bowl.

The defending champions were the South Alabama Jaguars, however they were unable to defend their title, losing in a penalty kick shootout to the Texas State Bobcats in the semifinals. The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans won the title in another penalty kick shootout over Texas State. This was the first Sun Belt women's soccer tournament title for Little Rock and the first for head coach Mark Foster.

South Alabama successfully defended their title with a 1–0 championship game win over Georgia Southern in the final. Eight of the last nine Sun Belt Women's Soccer Tournaments have been won by South Alabama. The Thundering Herd, led by sixth-year head coach Chris Grassie, played their home games at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex as members of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC).

The 2022 Sun Belt Conference men's soccer tournament was the 27th edition of the Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Tournament. The tournament ran from November 6 to November 13, 2022. Kentucky won the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) tournament and with it the SBC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I National Tournament.
