The 2019 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the twentieth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Korea Volleyball Association (KVA). The tournament was held in Seoul, South Korea, from 18 to 25 August 2019. [1] South Korea played host to this event for the first time. The top eight teams of this tournament qualified for the 2020 AVC Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualification Tournament.

Pools composition

Preliminary round

Teams were seeded in the first two positions of each pool following the Serpentine system according to their previous edition. AVC reserved the right to seed the hosts as heads of pool A regardless of the previous ranking. All teams not seeded were drawn to take other available positions in the remaining lines. Each pool had no more than three teams from the same zonal association. The draw was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 19 February 2019.

Ranking from the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was shown in brackets except the host (who ranked third) and the teams who did not participate, which were denoted by (–).

The 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship was the 20th edition of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA). The tournament was held in Tianjin, China, from 27 April to 5 May 2019. The winner of this tournament qualified to 2020 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

The 2019 FIVB Men's Volleyball Challenger Cup was the second edition of the FIVB Men's Volleyball Challenger Cup, an annual men's international volleyball tournament contested by six national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League. The tournament was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 3 to 7 July 2019.

The 2021 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship would have been the 21st edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, organized by Asia's governing volleyball body, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) hosted in the Philippines.

The tournament was held in Chiba and Funabashi, Japan from 12 to 19 September 2021.

The 2020 Women's Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament is a volleyball tournament for women's national teams organised by Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 7 to 12 January 2020. 8 teams will play in the tournament, where the winners will qualify to the 2020 women's Olympic volleyball tournament.

The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was the 21st edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, contested by the men's national teams under the age of 21 of the members of the FIVB, the sport's global governing body. The tournament was held in Italy and Bulgaria from 23 September to 3 October 2021. For the first time, the tournament was jointly hosted by more than one country.

The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 30 August to 6 September 2023.

The 2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the 22nd staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). The tournament was held in Urmia, Iran from 19 to 26 August 2023.
