The 2019 LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team will represent Louisiana State University in the 2019 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season as members of the Southeastern Conference in their 44th season of collegiate competition. [1] The Tigers' home meets will take place at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. [2] They will be led by head coach D-D Breaux in her forty-first season at the helm of the program. [3] The Tigers will look to build on a fourth place finish at the 2018 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship. [4]

Previous season

The Tigers finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 33-5. [5] In the postseason, the Tigers won the 2018 Southeastern Conference Championships—their third conference title. [6] Subsequently LSU entered the NCAA Regional competition as the No. 2 national seed, [7] winning the Raleigh regional and advancing to Nationals. At the National Championships, the Tigers finished second in the first semi-final and advanced to the Super Six where they eventually finished fourth. [8] Seven members of the 2018 Tigers cohort received All-American honors. [9]

Tiger Park is a softball stadium located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It serves as the home field of the LSU Lady Tigers softball team and is located on Skip Bertman Drive across from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. The official capacity of the stadium is 2,671 people. Tiger Parks record attendance of 3,242 came on March 25, 2016, in a game versus the University of Florida. The stadium also features an outfield berm, renamed the Tiger Park Terrace in 2016, that can accommodate in excess of 1,200 fans. The stadium opened prior to the 2009 college softball season.

Sherry Ingrid Veronica Fletcher is a female track and field sprinter from Grenada, who specializes in the 200 metres. Her personal best time is 22.67 seconds, achieved in June 2007 in Sacramento. This is the current Grenadian record. Fletcher also holds the Grenadian 100 metres record with 11.18 seconds, achieved during the heats at the 2007 Pan American Games.

They finished the season 17–14, 10–6 in SEC play to finish in a three way tie for fourth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the SEC women's tournament where they lost to LSU. Lloimincia D'Chelle Hall is a former American artistic gymnast, who competed in the NCAA for the LSU Lady Tigers gymnastics team. Hall attracted significant media attention due to her unique and dynamic floor routine and choreography.

Julianna Marie Cannamela is an All American collegiate artistic gymnast. She currently represents the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics; competing in the Southeastern Conference.

The 2019 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season will begin in January 2019 and run until the 2019 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship during April 19–20, 2019 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The season encompasses the 62 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics team across the United States.
