The 2019 Men's Indoor Asia Cup was the eighth edition of the Men's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup, the biennial international men's indoor hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. It was held alongside the women's tournament in Chonburi, Thailand from 15 to 21 July 2019. [1]

Contents

Iran were the defending champions having won the 2017 edition. Iran defended their title by defeating Kazakhstan 10–0 in the final. Malaysia won the bronze medal by defeating Uzbekistan 6–3.

Teams

For the first time ever there were 10 teams competing in the tournament which is the highest amount of competing teams ever. [1] Bangladesh, [2] Nepal and the Philippines made their debuts. [1]

The 2017 Men's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup was the 7th edition of the Indoor Hockey Asia Cup specifically for men. It was held in Doha, Qatar from 24–28 April 2017.

The 2015 Women's Indoor Asia Cup was the 5th edition of the Women's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup. It was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 12 to 16 August 2015.

The 2022 Women's FIH Hockey World Cup was the 15th edition of the Women's FIH Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for women's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation. It was held from 1 to 17 July 2022 at the Estadi Olímpic de Terrassa in Terrassa, Spain and at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.

The tournament was scheduled to be held in Kakamigahara, Japan from 6 to 12 April 2020. In March 2020 it was announced that the tournament would be postponed due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 October 2020 it was announced the tournament would be held from 16 to 22 August 2021. On 13 August 2021, the tournament was officially cancelled.

The 2019 Men's Junior AHF Cup was the fifth edition of the Men's Junior AHF Cup, the qualification tournament for the Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.

The Women's Hockey Asia Cup is a women's international field hockey tournament organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The winning team becomes the champion of Asia and qualifies for the FIH Hockey World Cup.

The 2022 Men's Hockey Asia Cup was the eleventh edition of the Men's Hockey Asia Cup, a quadrennial international men's field hockey championship in Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The tournament took place at the GBK Hockey Field in Jakarta, Indonesia, from May 23 to June 1, 2022.

The 2022 Men's Asian Games Qualifier was the qualification tournament for the men's field hockey event at the 2022 Asian Games. It was held from 6 to 15 May 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand and the top six teams qualified for the 2022 Asian Games.
