The 2019 WPI Engineers football team represented Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the 2019 NCAA Division III football season. [2] [3] It marked the Engineers' 130th overall season. The team played its home games at Alumni Stadium in Worcester, Massachusetts. They were led by tenth-year head coach Chris Robertson.

The Engineers finished the regular season with its fifth consecutive winning season, and the program's first ever season with ten wins. [4]

Schedule

In 2019, WPI faced all seven NEWMAC opponents: Catholic, Coast Guard, Maine Maritime, MIT, Merchant Marine, Norwich, and Springfield. They also played four non-conference games: the three originally scheduled being Worcester State of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), RPI of the Liberty League, and Husson of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), plus Western Connecticut State (MASCAC) in the New England Bowl series.

The 1993 Northern Iowa Panthers football team represented the University of Northern Iowa as a member of the Gateway Football Conference during the 1993 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Terry Allen, the Panthers compiled an overall record of 8–4 with a mark of 5–1 in conference play, winning the Gateway title for the fourth consecutive season. Northern Iowa advanced to the NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship playoffs, where they lost in the first round to Boston University. Panthers offense scored 350 points while the defense allowed 238 points. Quarterback Kurt Warner was in his senior season with the Panthers.

The 2015 Incarnate Word Cardinals football team represented the University of the Incarnate Word in the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Cardinals were in their third transition season of collegiate football at the FCS level. They were led by fourth-year head coach Larry Kennan. This was the Cardinals second season with a full Southland Conference schedule since becoming members of the conference. They played their home games at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium. They finished the season 6–5, 5–4 in Southland play to finish in fourth place.

The 2020 Pac-12 Conference football season was the 42nd season of Pac-12 football taking place during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season was originally scheduled to begin on September 26, 2020, and end with the 2020 Pac-12 Championship Game on December 18–19, 2020, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. On July 10, 2020, the Pac-12 announced that all competition in fall sports, including football, will be played exclusively in-conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On August 11, 2020, the Pac-12 Conference suspended all fall sports competitions due to the ongoing pandemic. On September 24, 2020 the Pac-12 Conference announced that the postponement of fall sports was to be ended and teams will return to play with a six-game Conference-only season to begin on November 6, and the Pac-12 Championship Game on December 18 with the rest of the conference seeded for a seventh game.

The 1999 Pacific Lutheran Lutes football team was an American football team that represented Pacific Lutheran University in the Northwest Conference during the 1999 NCAA Division III football season. In their 28th season under head coach Frosty Westering, the Lutes compiled a 13–1 record and won the NCAA Division III national championship. The team participated in the NCAA Division III playoffs where they defeated Saint John's (Minnesota) in the quarterfinal, Trinity (Texas) in the semifinal, and Rowan in the national championship game.
