The 2019 Women's T20 Super League was the inaugural Women's T20 Super League competition that took place in South Africa. It took place in September 2019, with 4 teams taking part made up of the best players in South Africa. [1] Devnarain XI won the competition by topping the round-robin group. [2]
The four teams played each other once in a round-robin, therefore playing three matches. Matches were played using a Twenty20 format. [2]
The league worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Points were awarded as follows:
Win: 2 points.
Tie : 1 point.
Loss: 0 points.
Abandoned/No Result: 1 point.
The 2019 Women's T20 Super League was launched at Tuks Cricket Clubhouse in Tshwane, with teams selected from a pool of 52 players. [1]

Roelof Erasmus van der Merwe is a Dutch-South African professional cricketer who has played internationally for both South Africa and the Netherlands, one of the few players to represent more than one international team.

The 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup was the first edition of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup, hosted by South Africa in 2023. The tournament was moved from its original slot at the end of 2021 to January 2023 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sixteen teams competed in the tournament, initially divided into four groups.

The team has no geographical base, instead being made up of some of the best players from across South Africa. They are captained by Dane van Niekerk and coached by Claire Terblanche. They have won one T20 Super League, the 2019–20 edition.

They then played a 5 match ODI series and a 3 match T20I series against England, both of which were won by England.
The 2019–20 Women's Senior T20 Challenger Trophy was the third edition of India's Women's T20 Challenger Trophy. Three teams made up of the best players in India competed in a double round-robin group, with the top two advancing to the final. The three teams competing were renamed from the previous two tournaments: India Blue, Green and Red became India A, B and C, with India C beating India B in the final by 8 wickets to win the tournament. All matches were held at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack across a week in January 2020.

The tournament was played from 10 January to 12 February 2023. SuperSport, Sky Sports and the Sports18 network broadcast the tournament in South Africa, the United Kingdom and India respectively.
