Belinda Bencic defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–3, 1–6, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Dubai Tennis Championships. She saved six match points en route to the title, in the third round against Aryna Sabalenka. For the second time in her career, Bencic defeated four consecutive top-ten players en route to a Premier 5 title. This was her first WTA singles title since winning the Premier 5 Rogers Cup title in 2015, and lifted her back inside the top 25 in rankings for the first time in over two and a half years.

Caroline Garcia defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–2, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters. It was her third WTA 1000 title, and her first since 2017. Garcia was the first qualifier to reach and to win the final of a WTA 1000 event.
Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Caty McNally and Taylor Townsend in the final, 3–6, 7–5, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 US Open. With the win, they became the first women's pair to complete the career Super Slam in doubles. It was their sixth major title together.

Nosková reached her first WTA Tour final after saving a match point in the first qualifying round against Anna Kalinskaya, and a further match point in the quarterfinals against Victoria Azarenka.
Aryna Sabalenka defeated Iga Świątek in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Madrid Open. This marked the first time since 2013 that the top two seeds reached the Madrid Open final. It was the first time since 2000 that the top two players on the WTA Tour contested back-to-back finals. The last time was 23 years ago, when Lindsay Davenport and Martina Hingis contested the Indian Wells and Miami finals.
Coco Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 2–6, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 US Open. It was her first major singles title. Gauff became the first American teenager to win the title since Serena Williams in 1999. Sabalenka became the first woman since Williams in 2016 to reach at least the semifinals of all four majors in a season.
