The 2021 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 14th edition of the tournament. For the first time it was held in Ankara, Turkey from 15 to 19 December. Six teams competed in the tournament, including two wild cards. [1]

Naz Aydemir Akyol is a Turkish volleyball player, widely regarded as one of the best setters in international volleyball. She plays as setter for Fenerbahçe and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. She has won a total of nine Turkish League championships, four with Vakıfbank, three with Eczacıbaşı and two with Fenerbahçe. She has four CEV Champions League championships, winning three with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She also has three FIVB Club World Championship, winning two with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She participated at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Maja Ognjenović is a Serbian volleyball player and the captain of the Serbia women's national volleyball team. Ognjenović won gold with the national team at the 2018 World Championship, and the 2011/2019 edition of the European Championship, silver at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
Carolina del Pilar Costagrande is an Argentine born professional volleyball player who became a naturalized Italian. She currently plays for Vakıfbank Spor Kulübü. She played for Argentina between 1999-02 and has played for the Italian national team since 2009.
Milena Rašić is a retired Serbian professional volleyball player. She played for Serbia women's national volleyball team. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is 1.93 m tall.
Monica De Gennaro is an Italian professional volleyball player. She plays for Imoco Volley Conegliano and for the Italy women's national volleyball team. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is 1.74 m tall.
Zhu Ting is a professional Chinese volleyball player. She is an outside hitter and former captain of the Chinese women's volleyball national team. She played for Vakıfbank Istanbul from 2016 to 2019. Currently, she plays for Italian club Savino del Bene Scandicci.
Robin de Kruijf is a Dutch volleyball player for Imoco Volley and Netherlands national team. Robin de Kruijf made her debut in the Dutch national team in the Dutch opening match of the Montreux Volley Masters against Cuba in June 2008 at the age of 22. In 2016 De Kruijf and her team won bronze in the World Grand Prix and ended on a historical fourth place in the Rio Olympics.
Kimberly Hill is an American former professional volleyball player who played as an outside hitter for the United States women's national volleyball team. Hill won gold with the national team at the 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Kelsey Marie Robinson Cook is an American indoor volleyball player of the United States women's national volleyball team. The CEV Champions League was the highest level of European club volleyball in the 2016–17 season and the 57th edition. The Turkish club VakıfBank Istanbul won its third title and qualified to the 2017 FIVB Club World Championship as European champion, besides being already invited by the FIVB, along with Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Voléro Zürich. The Italian club Imoco Volley Conegliano won the silver medal and Turkish Eczacıbaşı VitrA claimed the bronze medal. The Chinese Zhu Ting from VakıfBank Istanbul was awarded Most Valuable Player. Fourth placed club, Dinamo Moscow later received the last wild card to the Club World Championship by the FIVB.
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.
