The 2022 Canadian Country Music Awards, honouring achievements in Canadian country music, were presented on September 11, 2022 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, and broadcast by the Global Television Network. [1] The ceremony was hosted by Tenille Townes and Blanco Brown. [2]

Contents

Nominees were announced on July 20. [3] A week later, the Canadian Country Music Association revised the nominations to add several more nominees in various categories, noting tabulation errors caused by the increasingly fragmented release strategies used by the modern music industry. [4]

The 2021 Canadian Country Music Awards, honouring achievements in Canadian country music in 2021, were presented November 29, 2021, at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. Hosted by Lindsay Ell and Priyanka, the ceremony was presented in-person, although due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada the venue maintained vaccination and social distancing mandates. The top winner of the night was Dallas Smith, who won three awards.

The Juno Awards of 2023 was a music awards ceremony that was held on March 13, 2023 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. It recognized the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year determined by the members of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Canadian actor Simu Liu, who hosted the 2022 ceremony, returned to host again.

The 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards, honouring achievements in Canadian country music, were presented on September 16, 2023, at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. For the first time in 25 years they were broadcast by CTV instead of Global, under a new content partnership with Bell Media which included a listener contest on the Pure Country radio network to win tickets to attend the event.
