Iga Świątek defeated Maria Sakkari in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters. She became the first Pole to win the title.

Simona Halep defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia in the final, 6–3, 2–6, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Canadian Open. Halep's third Canadian Open title marked the first time in her career she won an event on three occasions and also earned her a ninth WTA 1000 title. Haddad Maia was the first Brazilian to reach beyond the quarterfinals and contest the final at a WTA 1000 tournament.

Iga Świątek defeated Donna Vekić in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 San Diego Open. It was her eighth title of the 2022 season. By winning the title, Świątek became the first player since Serena Williams in 2013 to win more than 10,000 ranking points in a single season.

The 2022 Dow Tennis Classic was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the twenty-eighth edition of the tournament which was also part of the 2022 WTA 125 tournaments. It took place at the Greater Midland Tennis Center in Midland, Michigan, United States between 31 October and 6 November 2022.

Sophie Chang was the defending champion, but chose not to participate.

Petra Kvitová defeated Elena Rybakina in the final, 7–6(16–14), 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. It was Kvitová's first WTA 1000 title since the 2018 Madrid Open, and her 30th career title overall; she also became the first Czech player to win the title. Rybakina was attempting to complete the Sunshine Double, having already won the title at Indian Wells.

Madison Keys defeated Daria Kasatkina in the final, 6–2, 7–6(15–13) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Eastbourne International. Keys did not drop a set en route to the title, saving ten set points across three matches. It was her second Eastbourne International title.

Sara Errani was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Nao Hibino defeated Linda Nosková in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 Prague Open. She became only the fifth lucky loser in WTA Tour history to win a singles title, and the second to do so in the last month.

Maria Sakkari defeated Caroline Dolehide in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the singles title at the 2023 Guadalajara Open. She did not lose a set en route to her first WTA 1000 title and her second WTA Tour singles title overall, following six successive runner-up finishes. World No. 111 Dolehide reached her first WTA Tour singles final after saving four match points in the second set of the quarterfinals against Martina Trevisan.

Anna Kalinskaya won the title, defeating Jana Fett in the final, 7–5, 6–4. It was her maiden WTA 125 title, and she saved three match points en route, in the quarterfinals against Hailey Baptiste.

Taylor Townsend was the defending champion but chose not to participate.

Katarzyna Kawa and Aldila Sutjiadi were the defending champions but Sutjiadi chose not to participate. Kawa originally intended to defend her title alongside Elvina Kalieva but the pair withdrew before the first round.
