The 2022 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 15th edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament. It was held in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, from 9 August to 14 August. Eight teams competed in the tournament. [1]

The competition format for the Pan-American Volleyball Cup divides the eight participating teams in two groups of four teams each. [2]
The best team from Group A and Group B will advance to the semifinals, the second and third teams from Group B will play the quarterfinals against the second and third teams from Pool A. The remaining teams will play for the 5th to 8th placement matches. [2]
Match won 3–0: 5 points for the winner, 0 point for the loser
Match won 3–1: 4 points for the winner, 1 points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 3 points for the winner, 2 points for the loser

At the end of the tournament, the top two teams from NORCECA and the best placed of the CSV qualified for 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship, to be held in Ankara, Turkey. Colombia (CSV), Cuba and Dominican Republic (NORCECA) qualified for the World Championship.

The tournament was held in Santiago and Temuco, Chile from 7 to 11 August 2017. The champions qualified for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship.
The volleyball competition at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games was held in Barranquilla, Colombia at the Humberto Perea Coliseum. The women's tournament was held from the 20 to 25 July, whilst the men's tournament was held from the 28 July to 2 August.
