The 2022 NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 51st edition of the NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Championship, an annual tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I and Division II men's collegiate indoor volleyball. The single-elimination tournament began with play-in matches. The entire tournament was hosted by the University of California Los Angeles from May 1 to 7, 2022 at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. [1] Hawai'i defeated Long Beach State for their second consecutive national championship 3–0 (the school's 2002 title was vacated due to NCAA violations).
All opening round matches were streamed on PAC-12.com. The semifinals were on live on NCAA.com. ESPN2 broadcast the National Championship on May 7.

ChristianMarlowe is an American professional sportscaster who resides in Denver, Colorado. He currently is the play-by-play announcer for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association in the fall, winter and spring, and in the summer he is a play-by-play announcer for the Association of Volleyball Professionals. He is a former collegiate basketball and volleyball player and played on the US National Men's Volleyball Team. He played beach volleyball extensively and won numerous tournaments on the Open beach circuit. He also was a captain of the US Men's volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Olympic Games.

Nicole Carol McNamara is a Canadian beach volleyball player. Along with her twin sister, Megan McNamara, Nicole has competed in many beach volleyball events around the world. From the fall of 2015 until the spring of 2019, Megan competed collegiately for the UCLA Bruins, leading the team to its first Pac-12 and NCAA titles in the sport during the 2018 season, and a second NCAA championship in the 2019 season.

The 2022 NCAA Championship began on May 1 with an opening round match.
The 2022 Stanford Cardinal men's volleyball team represented Stanford University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Cardinal, led by sixteenth year head coach John Kosty, played their home games split between Burnham Pavilion & Ford Center and Maples Pavilion. After being told that the 2021 season would be the Cardinal's final season of men's volleyball play, the program was saved when the university reversed their decision near the end of last years athletic calendar. The Cardinal are members of the MPSF and were picked to finish sixth in the MPSF preseason poll. Stanford finished fifth and pulled off two upsets in the MPSF Volleyball Tournament before falling to Pepperdine in the Championship.

The 2023 Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors volleyball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH) in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by 14th-year head coach Charlie Wade, play home games at Stan Sheriff Center on the UH campus in the Honolulu neighborhood of Mānoa. The Rainbow Warriors, members of the Big West Conference, were picked by Big West coaches to win the conference in its preseason poll with Long Beach State. The Rainbow Warriors enter the season as the two-time defending national champions after defeating Long Beach State in the 2022 national championship game. The national championship was Hawai'i's second men's volleyball national championship after they had to vacate the 2002 national championship.
