The 2022 Spain Women's Pentangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament held in Spain from 11 to 14 November 2022. [1] The participants were the women's national sides of Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Isle of Man. [2] The Isle of Man played their first official WT20I matches in the tournament. [3] [4]

The NatWest Women's T20 Quadrangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International series which took place in England in 2011. The top four ranked teams in the world competed: Australia, England, India and New Zealand. The tournament consisted of a round-robin group stage, in which England and Australia finished as the top two, and then a third-place play-off and a final were contested to decide the final positions. England defeated Australia by 16 runs in the final. The tournament was followed by an ODI Quadrangular Series, with the same teams competing.

The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup was the eighth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in South Africa between 10 February and 26 February 2023. The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. Twelve regional qualifiers were held by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with 62 teams competing during 2018 in five regions – Africa, Americas (2), Asia (2), East Asia Pacific (2) and Europe (3). The top 25 sides from these progressed to five Regional Finals in 2019, with seven teams then going on to compete in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, along with the six lowest ranked sides from the ICC T20I Championship.

The 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament was a women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament held in Rwanda from 18 to 23 June 2019. This was the sixth edition of the annual Kwibuka T20 Tournament, first organised in 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

A cricket tournament was held at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, during July and August 2022. It was cricket's first inclusion in the Commonwealth Games since a List A men's tournament was held at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with only a women's tournament being part of the Games.

The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup was the eighth edition of the Women's Asia Cup tournament which took place from 1 to 15 October 2022 in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The tournament was contested between Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and United Arab Emirates. On 20 September 2022, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule of the tournament. Bangladesh were the defending champions, having defeated India by three wickets in the final of the 2018 tournament to win the title for the first time. The tournament was played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The seven teams played in a round-robin stage, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals.

The 2022 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament was a women's T20I (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Rwanda from 9 to 18 June 2022. This was the eighth edition of the annual Kwibuka T20 Tournament, first played in 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Matches were played at two venues in the city of Kigali – the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium and the IPRC Cricket Ground. Kenya were the defending champions, having won the 2021 edition. This was the fourth time that Kenya had won the tournament.

The 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 17 to 25 June 2022. The tournament was organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the top two sides qualified for the 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. The series was the last to be played at the Kinrara Academy Oval before the ground closed on 30 June 2022.

The 2022 Women's T20I Nordic Cup was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Kolsva, Sweden, from 27 to 29 May 2022. The participants were the hosts Sweden, along with Denmark and Norway- with Denmark playing their first official women's T20I matches. On the penultimate day of the tournament, Sweden won the Nordic Cup, after they beat Denmark by 71 runs and Norway won their match, also against Denmark, by 34 runs.

The 2022 Women's T20I Pacific Cup was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that took place in Port Vila, Vanuatu, from 3 to 6 October 2022. It was the inaugural edition of the Women's T20I Pacific Cup. The participants were the women's national sides of Vanuatu, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Samoa. Papua New Guinea had entered the event after recently competing in the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi, but the other three teams had not played an international fixture since the Pacific Games cricket tournament in July 2019.

The 2022 Women's South American Cricket Championship was a cricket tournament held in Itaguaí, Brazil from 13 to 16 October 2022. This was the twelfth edition of the women's South American Cricket Championship, and the third in which the matches were eligible for WT20I status since the ICC granted Twenty20 International (T20I) status to matches between all of its members.

The 2022 United Arab Emirates Women's Quadrangular Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was played in Dubai from 10 to 13 September 2022. The participants were the women's national sides of United Arab Emirates, Thailand, United States and Zimbabwe. The tournament provided all four teams with preparation for the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.

The 2022–23 Spain Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held at the Desert Springs Cricket Ground in Almería from 4 to 6 November 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Spain, along with Germany and Italy.

The 2022–23 Kenya Women's Quadrangular Series was a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that took place in Nairobi in December 2022. Originally announced as a tri-nation series involving Kenya, Uganda and Qatar, the tournament became a quadrangular event with the addition of Tanzania. The African sides were in action for the first time since the 2022 Kwibuka T20 Tournament that was played in June 2022.

The Isle of Man women's cricket team is a team which represents the Isle of Man in international cricket matches. The Isle of Man Cricket Association formed its first women's national team in November 2020.

The 2022–23 South Africa women's Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in South Africa in January and February 2023 as a preparatory series before the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. It was a tri-nation series between India women, South Africa women and the West Indies women cricket teams, with the matches played as Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) fixtures. In December 2022, Cricket South Africa confirmed the fixtures for the series, with all the matches to be played at Buffalo Park in East London.

The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. In an expanded qualification pathway for women's cricket in Europe, this was the first time that a second division was included. The first stage of the tournament was Division Two, held in Jersey in May and June 2023. Six teams played in Division Two, with the top two sides progressing to Division One, which was played in Spain in September 2023. The top two teams in Division One advanced to the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier along with Ireland, Sri Lanka and six other regional qualifiers.

Lucy Barnett is a cricketer who plays for the Isle of Man women's cricket team. She is the first player from her country to score a half-century in a WT20I.
