The 2022 Tasman local elections were held on 8 October 2022 as part of the wider 2022 New Zealand local elections to elect members to sub-national councils and boards. These elections covered one district council (consisting of thirteen district councillors and one mayor),and two community boards.
Incumbent mayor Tim King was re-elected to a second term, [1] defeating Mike Harvey,Maxwell Clark (brother of invercargill mayor Nobby Clark [2] ),Aly Cook (a singer which ran as the candidate for the anti-vax NZ Outdoors &Freedom Party), [3] and Richard Osmaston.
