The 2023 All-Ireland Under-20 B Hurling Championship was the most recent staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship. The championship ran from 25 March to 6 May 2023.
Down entered the championship as defending champions, however, they were beaten by Roscommon in the All-Ireland semi-final. [1] [2]
The All-Ireland final was played on 6 May 2023 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Derry and Roscommon, in what was their first ever meeting in the All-Ireland final. Derry won the match by 3-17 to 2-14 to claim their first ever All-Ireland title. [3] [4]

The Leitrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Leitrim GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Leitrim. The county board is also responsible for the Leitrim inter-county teams. The county football team play in the Connacht Senior Football Championship and compete in Division 4 of the National Football League. Considered "Connacht's traditional minnows" and "one of the GAA's Cinderella counties", Leitrim are never seriously seen as likely to win a major title. They have won the Connacht Senior Football Championship on two occasions, the first in 1927 and their second in 1994.
The 2008 Christy Ring Cup was the 4th annual second tier hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Carlow beat Westmeath in the final after extra time. Carlow were beaten by Laois the bottom team in the Liam MacCarthy Cup and played in the Christy Ring Cup again the following year as a result.
