Two-time defending champion Barbora Krejčíková and her partner Rajeev Ram defeated Samantha Stosur and Matthew Ebden in the final, 6–1, 6–4 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2021 Australian Open. It was the pair's second major mixed doubles title as a team, after their first at the 2019 Australian Open. They saved a match point en route to the title, in the second round against Ena Shibahara and Ben McLachlan.

Kevin Krawietz and Horia Tecău defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime and Hubert Hurkacz in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–4, to win the doubles tennis title at the 2021 Halle Open. It was their first title as a team.

The 2023 Canberra Tennis International was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the fifth edition of the tournament and was part of the 2023 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2023 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It took place in Canberra, Australia between 2 and 7 January 2023.

Hans Hach Verdugo and Austin Krajicek were the defending champions but only Hach Verdugo chose to defend his title, partnering Miguel Ángel Reyes-Varela. Hach Verdugo lost in the semifinals to André Göransson and Ben McLachlan.

Gijs Brouwer and Reese Stalder were the defending champions but only Stalder chose to defend his title, partnering Evan King. Stalder lost in the first round to André Göransson and Ben McLachlan.
