The 2023 NCAA women's gymnastics tournament was the 40th NCAA women's gymnastics tournament, the annual women's gymnastics championship contested by the teams of the member associations of NCAA. The first and second round and regional final were hosted on campuses from March 29 to April 2, 2023, while the semi-final and final were held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from April 13 to April 15, 2023. The eight lowest seeded teams competed in the first round, followed by the second round. The top two teams from each region were moved on to the semi-finals. [2]

The 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 68 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament that determined the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's basketball national champion for the 2010-11 season. The 73rd edition of the NCAA tournament began on March 15, 2011, and concluded with the championship game on April 4, at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. This tournament marked the introduction of the "First Four" round and an expansion of the field of participants from 65 teams to 68. Due to the geographical location of New Orleans and San Antonio, the "South" and "Midwest" regional games were replaced by the monikers "Southeast" and "Southwest" for this tournament, respectively.
Bridget Elizabeth Sloan is an American artistic gymnast. She is the 2009 world champion in the all-around, the 2009 United States national champion, and a silver medalist with the American team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Kyla Briana Ross is a retired American artistic gymnast and current assistant coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics team. She is the first female gymnast to win NCAA, World, and Olympic championship titles.
Alexandra Claire McMurtry is an American former artistic gymnast. She is the 2013 Nastia Liukin Cup champion and the 2017 NCAA Champion. She competed in NCAA gymnastics for the Florida Gators and was the 10th person in NCAA history to record a Gym Slam.
Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles is an American artistic gymnast. She won a gold medal in the Women's Artistic Team All-Around as well as a bronze medal in floor exercise at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, following up on her silver medal in the same team event during the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo. She was a member of the team that won gold at the 2022 World Championships. Individually, she is the 2024 Olympic floor bronze medalist and the 2022 World vault silver medalist and floor silver medalist. She has been a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team since 2013. In NCAA Gymnastics, Chiles competes for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team, where she has won two Pac-12 titles and two NCAA championships.
Amanda Rose Jetter is a former American artistic gymnast. She competed in the NCAA for the University of Alabama's gymnastics team.
The 2016 LSU Tigers gymnastics team is to represent Louisiana State University in the sport of Artistic gymnastics during the 2016 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season. The Tigers compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They host their home meets at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the university's campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Tigers program is led by D-D Breaux who has been the head coach of the program for 39 seasons.
The 2016 NCAA women's gymnastics tournament were held April 15–16, 2016, at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The 2016 edition marks the second consecutive time the Championship has been held in Fort Worth; this only the second time it has been held in the state of Texas. Following the 2016 championship, Fort Worth would be where the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship is held in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The team competition was won by Oklahoma with a score 197.675.
Trinity Lemyra Thomas is an American artistic gymnast and a four-time National Team member (2016–20). She was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, where she also won silver medals in the individual all-around and on the uneven bars, as well as the bronze medalist on balance beam and floor exercise at the 2017 national championships. She was a member of the Florida Gators women's gymnastics team. One of the most successful NCAA gymnasts in history, Thomas finished her collegiate career with a record-tying 28 perfect-10 scores and a record-breaking five Gym Slams.

The 81st annual edition of the tournament began on March 19, 2019, and concluded with the championship game on April 8, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Virginia Cavaliers, with Virginia winning 85–77 in overtime.

Leanne Ashley Wong is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal winning teams at the 2022 World Championships, 2023 World Championships, and the 2019 Pan American Games. She is the 2021 World all-around silver medalist, floor exercise bronze medalist, and was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team and 2024 Olympic team.
Natalie Wojcik is a former American artistic gymnast. She competed for the Michigan Wolverines women's gymnastics team, and is a seven-time All-American.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds women's gymnastics team is the women's gymnastics team that represents Southern Utah University (SUU) in Cedar City, Utah. Home meets are held in the America First Events Center. The school's team, alternately nicknamed Flippin' Birds, currently competes in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) from 2024 forward. SUU previously competed in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference from 2014 to 2023, Western Athletic Conference (WAC) from 2006 to 2013 and from 1991 to 1993, the Western Gymnastics Conference from 2002 to 2005, and was Independent from 1994 to 2001. The Thunderbirds are currently coached by Scott Bauman.
