2023 World Para Swimming Championships – Freestyle relays

The freestyle relay events at the 2023 World Para Swimming Championships will be held at the Manchester Aquatics Centre between 31 July and 6 August. One will be held solely for S14 (intellectual disability) athletes; the other three will be an aggregate points based system to allow swimmers from multiple classifications to be eligible.

He won his first Olympic gold medal in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay at the 2020 Summer Olympics, swimming in the prelims and the final of the event, and later in the same Olympic Games won a gold medal and helped set a new world record and Olympic record in the 4x100-meter medley relay, swimming the freestyle leg of the relay in the final.

Andrey Dmitriyevich Minakov is a Russian swimmer and Olympian. He is the Russian record holder in the long course 100 metre butterfly. He is a former world junior record holder in the long course and short course 50 metre butterfly and long course 100 metre freestyle. At the 2019 World Aquatics Championships, he won silver medals in the 100 metre butterfly and 4×100 metre freestyle relay, and a bronze medal in the 4×100 metre medley relay. In 2021, at the 2020 Summer Olympics, he placed fourth in the 100 metre butterfly, fourth in the 4×100 metre medley relay, seventh in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay, and tenth in the 100 metre freestyle. Claire Curzan is an American swimmer and Olympian. Specialising in multiple events, she is an Olympic silver medallist in the 4×100 meter medley relay in the 2020 Summer Olympics, swimming the butterfly leg of the relay in the prelims. She also holds the junior world record in the long course 50 meter freestyle and 100 meter butterfly and the short course 50 meter butterfly and 100 meter butterfly. She swims for the Virginia Cavaliers.

Victoria "Torri" Huske is an American swimmer. She is the current World Champion in the long-course meters (LCM) 100M butterfly. In addition, she is the current American record holder in both the 100-meter butterfly and the LC 50M butterfly. At the 2022 Fina World Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Huske, just 19, became one of only four American women in history to win six medals at a World Championships.

Drew Kibler is an American competition swimmer specializing in freestyle events. He is a world record holder in the short course 4×200 meter freestyle relay and a former American record holder in the 4×200 yard freestyle relay. He won a gold medal in the 4×200 meter freestyle relay each at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships and the 2022 World Short Course Championships and placed fourth in the event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In the 200 meter freestyle, he took fourth-place at both the 2022 World Aquatics Championships and the 2022 World Short Course Championships. He is also a three-time NCAA champion in the 4×200 yard freestyle relay, winning NCAA titles in the event in 2019, 2021, and 2022.

Katherine Cadwallader Douglass is an American swimmer who is currently on the USA National Team. In 2021 she placed second in the 200m meter individual medley at the 2020 Olympic Swimming Trials, qualifying for the US Olympic Team. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a bronze medal in the same event. She swam for the University of Virginia where she competed at the collegiate level, and is a fifteen-time NCAA champion. In addition, she also holds the American record in the women's 100 yard butterfly, 200 yard breaststroke, 200 yard individual medley and 200 metre individual medley. At the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, Douglass became the first swimmer to win three individual titles in three different strokes.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mollie O'Callaghan</span> Australian swimmer

Mollie Grace O'Callaghan, is an Australian swimmer. She was the 2023 world champion in the women's 100m and 200m freestyle individual events, and part of the world champion 4 × 100 m and 4 × 200 m Australian women's relay teams together with 4 × 100 m mixed relay team. As of July 2023 she is the world record holder in the women's individual 200m freestyle.

Lani Pallister is an Australian competitive swimmer. She is a world record holder in two sports, with a world record in swimming, the short course 4×200-metre freestyle relay, and world records in life saving for the youth age group in the 100-metre rescue medley and 200-metre super lifesaver. She holds the Oceanian, Commonwealth, and Australian records in the short course 1500-metre freestyle and the Australian record in the short course 800-metre freestyle. She is the first female World Short Course champion in the 1500-metre freestyle, winning the inaugural event for women at the 2022 edition. Over the course of the 2022 World Short Course Championships, she won the gold medal in each of the four events she contested.

Daria Sergeevna Klepikova is a Russian competitive swimmer. She is a Russian record holder in the short course 4×50 metre freestyle relay and 4×50 metre medley relay. She won two gold medals at the 2021 European Short Course Championships, one in the 4×50 metre freestyle relay and one in the 4×50 metre medley relay, swimming freestyle on each finals relay. At the 2021 European Junior Championships she won six gold medals and one silver medal in individual and relay events.

Flynn Southam is an Australian swimmer. At the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, he won gold medals in the 50 metre freestyle, 100 metre freestyle, and 200 metre freestyle. In the 4×100 metre freestyle relay, he won a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games as well as silver medals at the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships and the 2022 World Short Course Championships, swimming on the finals relay at each competition. In the 4×200 metre freestyle relay, he won gold medals as a finals relay member at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, and a silver medal at the 2022 World Short Course Championships.
