The 2024 Clutch Pro Tour, titled as the 2024 Mizuno Next Gen Series for sponsorships reasons, was the fifth season of the Clutch Pro Tour, a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour.
In December 2023, it was confirmed that an additional player (three in total) from the Clutch Pro Tour Order of Merit would be awarded Challenge Tour status for the following season. [1]
In April, it was announced that all Clutch Pro Tour events that fall into Tier 1, beginning in May, would receive Official World Golf Ranking points. [2] [3]

The Order of Merit was titled as the Race to Royal Norwich and was based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. [6] The top three players on the Order of Merit (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2025 Challenge Tour (HotelPlanner Tour). [7] [8]

The Challenge Tour, currently titled as the HotelPlanner Tour for sponsorship reasons and also sometimes referred to as the European Challenge Tour, is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and similarly with the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe.
The Pro Golf Tour, formerly the EPD Tour, is a developmental professional golf tour based in Germany. It is a third-level tour, the highest level of men's golf in Europe being the European Tour, and the second level being the Challenge Tour. The other third-level tours in Europe are the United Kingdom-based Tartan Pro Tour and Clutch Pro Tour, the Alps Tour, which is sanctioned by the national golf unions of several countries, including France and Italy, and the Nordic Golf League in the Nordic countries. Starting in July 2015, third-level tours carry Official World Golf Ranking points.
