The 2024 Pro Golf Tour was the 28th season of the Pro Golf Tour (formerly the EPD Tour), a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour.

The Order of Merit was based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. [5] [6] The top five players on the Order of Merit (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2025 Challenge Tour (HotelPlanner Tour). [7] [6] [8]

The Challenge Tour, currently titled as the HotelPlanner Tour for sponsorship reasons and also sometimes referred to as the European Challenge Tour, is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and similarly with the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe.
Jean-François Remésy, also known as Jeff Remésy, is a French professional golfer.
José-Filipe Lima is a French-Portuguese professional golfer. He won the 2004 Aa St Omer Open to gain a place on the European Tour. His best seasons were from 2005 to 2007 when he finished in the top-100 on the European Tour Order of Merit. Successful Challenge Tour seasons in 2009, 2013 and 2016 have promoted him back to the European Tour but, on each occasion he has failed to retain his place on the tour. He was runner-up in the 2007 BMW International Open.

Björn Oskar Ingemar Åkesson is a Swedish professional golfer that has played on the European Tour. He won the 2023 Nordic Golf League Order of Merit and the 2024 NMB Championship in South Africa.
Alexander Karl Mikael Björk is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and PGA Tour. He won the 2018 Volvo China Open, and has recorded runner-up finishes at the UBS Hong Kong Open, British Masters, DP World Tour Championship, Ras Al Khaimah Championship and Omega European Masters. In 2023, he finished 5th in Race to Dubai Eligibility Ranking to receive a PGA Tour card.
Matthieu Pavon is a French professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. With his victory at the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open, Pavon became the first French golfer to win on the PGA Tour since 1907.
Aaron Rai is an English professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He has won twice on the European Tour; the 2018 Honma Hong Kong Open and the 2020 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open, and once on the PGA Tour at the 2024 Wyndham Championship. Tadeas Tetak wins the Castanea Resort Championship 2024 with an overall score of -12. His second win of the season is synonymous with promotion to the Challenge Tour. The second and third-placed finishers in the season finale, Yente van Doren (-11) and Jean Bekirian (-10), are also delighted with their Challenge Tour card... Cédric Gugler from Switzerland finished fifth overall but, like Meyer de Beco, had already secured his Tour card thanks to three wins this season. All five will start the 2025 Challenge Tour season in category 13b.
