The 2024 Grand Prix de Fourmies was the 91st edition of the Grand Prix de Fourmies, a one-day road cycling race in and around Fourmies in northern France. [1] It was also the fifteenth event of the 2024 French Road Cycling Cup.
Seven of the eighteen UCI WorldTeams, nine UCI ProTeams, and four UCI Continental teams made up the twenty teams that participated in the race.

Romain Feillu is a French former road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2019. He is the older brother of Brice Feillu, who also competed professionally as a cyclist.
Peter Velits is a Slovakian former professional road racing cyclist. His career highlights included third place overall and a stage win at the 2010 Vuelta a España, the 2007 World Under-23 Road Race Championships gold and the 2012 Tour of Oman overall victory. Velits was also known as strong time-trialist, winning three consecutive team time trials as a part of Omega Pharma–Quick-Step in 2012 and 2013 and riding on the BMC Racing Team in 2014 UCI Road World Championships. His twin brother, Martin Velits also competed professionally, having raced on the same teams every year until the end of the 2013 season.
Andrej Hauptman is a Slovenian former professional road racing cyclist. In 2001 he became the first Slovenian rider to take a world championship medal in cycling when he won the bronze in the road race at the Road World Championships. After retiring from competition, he became a cycling coach: he is coach of fellow Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar and also serves as head coach and head of selectors for the Slovenian national cycling team. He formerly managed Ljubljana Gusto Santic, where as well as guiding Pogačar through his under-23 career he coached Primož Roglič when the latter switched from ski jumping to cycling and rode for the team's development squad. In May 2019 Hauptman joined UAE Team Emirates as a directeur sportif after Pogačar joined the team.
Adrien Petit is a French racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty. In September 2015 Direct Énergie announced that Petit would join them for the 2016 season, after five years with Cofidis.
Hugo Hofstetter is a French cyclist who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Israel–Premier Tech. In August 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Tour de France. He finished in the top 10 of five stages during the race, including the final stage on the Champs-Élysées.
Martina Alzini is an Italian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Cofidis.
Marta Lach is a Polish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Ceratizit–WNT Pro Cycling. She rode in the women's road race at the 2016 UCI Road World Championships, but she did not finish the race.

This edition was the race's first in the UCI ProSeries; the 2020 edition was expected to feature in the inaugural UCI ProSeries but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also the ninth event of the 2021 French Road Cycling Cup.
The 2021 Grand Prix de Denain – Porte du Hainaut was the 62nd edition of the Grand Prix de Denain, a one-day road cycling race in and around Denain in northern France. This edition was the race's first in the UCI ProSeries; the 2020 edition was expected to feature in the inaugural UCI ProSeries but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also the eleventh event of the 2021 French Road Cycling Cup. Additionally, the race was originally due to be held on 18 March but was postponed by COVID-19 precautions.
